Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I was going to a college in London as well as attending the Shetland college for some reason, and I took a trip down to London from Shetland a few times a week to attend the college there. This time, I decided to bring my dad with me on my trip to London, to show him some of the famous sites there. We walked across a bridge and I started telling him about all these monuments that we were coming across. But he wasn't interested at all and kept wanting to go somewhere else. He kept yawning and walking away, and said he wanted to eat food instead of seeing all these monuments. But we couldn't find any food because the queues were too big and we didn't want to stand in them, so he just waved goodbye to me and got on the next flight back to Shetland. I then walked to the college, and by the end of the day at college, I was walking through the corridors on my way out the door, until a group of random people that I'd never talked to in my life, asked me if I wanted to hang out with them. Since I wasn't doing anything else, I said yes. So me and the group walked out of the college. It was around 4pm, it was already dark and it was quite cold. We went into one of the group members cars, which was red, and drove off somewhere. I think there was about 5-7 people in total in that car, including me. Whilst we were driving, something weird happened. We suddenly ended up in this tropical place which was warm and had blue skies and sunshine, and green trees lined the edge of the roads. We could see the sea from where we were driving. The person in the drivers seat drove faster and put on happy, fast paced music, which everyone started singing along to. Everyone was laughing, smiling and talking apart from me, who stayed silent most of the way. The people in the group kept insulting me for some reason, but I didn't care and just didn't respond to them. Then the person in the front of the car asked me a weird question. He asked 'Do you have a father?' and I said 'Yeah?' and then they all started laughing at me for some reason? Then someone started complaining that they were hungry, and everyone started discussing where we should go to get food. It was all fast food restaurants that were discussed. We eventually settled on going to Krispy Kreme, and started driving towards there. We pulled up to the window of the Krispy Kreme drive-through and ordered a massive box of plain glazed donuts. They gave them to us and we thanked them, then drove away. Somehow we were now back in London and weren't on that tropical road anymore. We parked the car in some random place and the driver handed out a donut to every person including me. I ate the donut and thought it tasted really good. The other people ate the rest of the donuts (It was a box of 24 and I ate 1 or 2 of them) then we disposed of the box and drove off to the college again. Then I left to go back to Shetland.

Hey Adelle! Thank you for sharing your dream with me. It seems like a vivid and eventful dream that takes you on quite the journey. Let's dive into the interpretation! The dream starts with you attending college in both London and Shetland, which could symbolize a desire for exploration and knowledge. Bringing your dad along to show him famous sites may represent a need for validation or approval from a parental figure. However, his disinterest and desire for food instead of monuments might reflect a sense of disconnect or lack of support in pursuing your passions. The encounter with random people at college who invite you to hang out could signify a longing for connection and belonging. The sudden shift to a tropical place represents a temporary escape from your daily routine and responsibilities. The laughter, singing, and insults from the group members may indicate a mix of camaraderie and underlying tension within social relationships. The question about your father and subsequent laughter might highlight unresolved issues or insecurities related to your relationship with your dad. The discussion about fast-food restaurants and settling on Krispy Kreme suggests a desire for indulgence and instant gratification. Enjoying the donut you ate could symbolize finding pleasure in small moments despite the challenges you face. Returning to London and then heading back to college signifies a cycle or routine in your life, while ultimately leaving to go back to Shetland may represent a longing for familiarity and comfort. Overall, this dream portrays a complex mix of desires, relationships, and emotions. It could reflect your yearning for validation, connection, and a sense of belonging, as well as the challenges and conflicts you encounter along the way. Remember, dreams are highly personal, so only you can truly uncover the specific meaning behind this dream. I hope this interpretation provides some insights, Adelle.
