Dream About Surviving A War Without Zombies
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

this dream was set in a place like the walking dead, but in my dream there were no zombies. me and my community that i ran with my dad (which i really don’t like irl) were in the middle of a war with a much bigger community. they overran our building, and we had to evacuate everyone to a safe house while the soldiers, including me and my best friend, had to go to an old stone building, which reminded me of an old war base or something. one side of the base was surrounded by a forest, and the other was a big grass field. i had a rifle with one mag, so i had to use my bullets sparingly. somehow, my group was incredibly skilled at sharpshooting or something, because we all took out the group of rivals. i’ve only played vr shooters, but in my dream it looked like i was using my high properly, and everyone else in my group was too. my best friend said she’d stay at the base while everyone else went home, but i ushered her to come with us. she didn’t, so after i came to the safe house and rested for a little bit, i came back with more mags for my rifle, which were given to me by one of my old classmates from last year. i was also given a belt that can hold a much better knife than the flip knife i had. the flip knife i had was from my deceased grandmother. i headed back and we had to fight a few more soldiers. we knew we had to finish things, so we went out to explore to try to finish off as many soldiers as we could. we ended up in my hometown, at the supermarket/library area. there was a parking garage, where we found people living out there without a community. one of them was a kid that was in the year ahead of me in school, and i offered him to come with us. unbeknownst to me and my best friend, there were soldiers hiding out in the big shipment crates that were now scattered in the garage. the fight scene was very similar to a john wick scene (i watched john wick 3 last night), but i remember getting shot in the shoulder by a .22 bullet, and me and my best friend managed to fight off all of the soldiers. there were about 15 of them. me and my friend went back to the safe house without the kid from my school, and the dream ended with me going to take a shower. i could think clearly in my dream, i remember going out to really finish things off. at the beginning of the dream there were probably hundreds of rival soldiers, and we did not kill all of them.

Hey Hazel! Thank you for sharing your dream with me. It seems like a vivid and intense dream set in a post-apocalyptic world. The absence of zombies and the focus on a war between communities suggests a struggle for survival, power dynamics, and the need to protect oneself and those close to you. In this dream, you find yourself leading a community alongside your father, despite not having a good relationship with him in real life. This may symbolize the need to navigate challenging relationships or circumstances, even when it feels uncomfortable or difficult. The war with a larger community represents external pressures or conflicts that you're facing in your waking life. The old stone building, reminiscent of a war base, signifies a place of safety and refuge amidst chaos. Your proficiency in sharpshooting and your group's collective skill may reflect your resourcefulness, adaptability, and ability to handle challenges effectively. It could also suggest that you possess untapped talents or strengths that can help you overcome obstacles. Your best friend's decision to stay behind while you go to the safe house might indicate a desire for independence or a reluctance to rely too heavily on others. However, your return with additional resources and the encounter with people living without a community highlights your willingness to extend support and bring others into your circle. The fight scene resembling John Wick and getting shot in the shoulder could symbolize moments of vulnerability or setbacks that you encounter in your journey. However, your resilience and determination shine through as you and your best friend manage to defeat the soldiers. Overall, this dream may signify your inner strength, adaptability, and the ability to navigate challenging situations. It reminds you that even in the face of adversity, you have the skills and support system to overcome obstacles and protect what is important to you. Keep tapping into your inner resources and trust your instincts as you continue to face challenges head-on. I hope this interpretation resonates with you, Hazel.
