I drove down to the Wellington Ferry and I walked on the boat and the boat took off and I realized I forgot my car and we were going up and down in waves and I couldn't find the bar anywhere. So then the boat re-docked into the ferry and I went to get my car and as I came back to the ferry, the ferry had taken off without me so I missed the boat. So I went for a walk outside and I realized I was dreaming, now I was conscious. So I started walking around consciously. I decided to fly but I was quite heavy and I realized that my energy was quite low. So I sat down, crossed my legs and started to meditate and I was running energy up my spine and this guy kept trying to distract me and I just kept meditating. After a while, I gave up, I got up and I walked into a building and I kept saying clarity now, clarity now and I came across all these pool tables and people playing pool. So I started talking to the people and it didn't feel like I was in a dream, it felt like I was in another dimension but I wasn't totally sure and as I was talking to these people, I was like, are we in heaven? And these people were like, we are in heaven, we can do whatever we want and I was like, is this really heaven or is this just another dream, another different dimension? And they were believing that it was heaven and I was thinking the opposite, that we were in another dimension or another dream and they kept changing their appearance from being hot chicks to not so good looking chicks and then from being black people to white people where they were playing pool and I wanted to play pool on a table but I didn't get a chance to have a game and my vision started going blurry and then I would go dark and I had to anchor myself to the reality so I had to say clarity now, clarity now, clarity now and my vision would come back after a while and I was hanging out with a character that looked like Josh so I was getting him to guide me a bit and then I was following him through corridors and then I tried to talk to some dead people so I tried to invite Sam but I don't think it was Sam, I think it was another version of Sam because he was giving me heaps of shit and I thought about my grandparents but then I didn't know where I was so I gave up, I gave up trying to talk to Sam and then I was just walking through corridors and this corridor started getting smaller and smaller and smaller and it was forcing me to crouch down but I just started to stand up and just keep walking and the corridor made itself as large as me and then I gave up so I was like back to my body, back to my body and then I went into the dream body and I woke up in a dream and I was sitting in this lazy plastic buoy and other people woke up like we're all astral predicting and then I started waking up in my bed

I died. First my sister Marley died, then my sister Ruby, and then me. All of us had been moved to the “Brown Hospital,” whose logo had white text and thin blue letters. It was apparently a hospital designated for people of color. I witnessed the details of Ruby’s passing, in which she had a mysterious illness and her mental faculties declined slightly. She was surrounded by doctors and as her death neared, she detected patterns in their behavior and was close to understanding something they weren’t directly telling her. She ended up passing anyway and I could feel it the moment she did—she was looking at me and her last words were “I love you.” Her death felt like, for both of us, a slow, deep drop into sleep. After her I lived my own death. I was also in the hospital and I got the same feeling as I passed, this slow, overwhelming feeling of sinking. I became a ghost and was granted the opportunity to live the death day over and over—my first priority was finding Ruby. Since we died in the same place and manner it was easy. Both of us ghosts, I asked her a lot of questions about what was going on and why we were still existing in the world. We went to a tall apartment building where she asked me a riddle about how people act certain ways on certain floors. I figured out that people “act the strangest” on the middle floors, and I saw figures waving Pride flags and a young boy, with blonde hair and dressed in black, dancing in a silly and aggressive way. Down on the pavement with Ruby, I imitated him. I thought about asking Ruby to find Marley but didn’t for some reason.

Later we showed up at a restaurant where my parents were. At a dark glossy table, high enough for stool seats, I sat on my mom’s left as she looked thoughtfully into middle distance. I wondered how she thought she’d raised such strong, strapping, resilient daughters, when something small and unknowable had taken us both out. I thought she had been naive for thinking of us that way. Dad was also at the table but we didn’t interact with him much. Ruby and I did stacks of 3-D puzzles, pieces with rainbow colors and shapes, that related to our deaths. We were ghosts during this so our parents could not actually see us. 

Towards the late afternoon I was sitting at a round cafeteria table, still a ghost. I was back at the hospital, and I saw Meghan, my roommate, walking around on the phone. She was also a ghost, and appeared to be investigating her own death. I was learning at this point that after death we had gotten to live a day where we went anywhere, did anything, saw anything. But as evening approached, this meant some sort of second death, or something uncertain and intense. I briefly saw the dark pink sky streaked with dark clouds. I expected at the end of the day I would experience the same feeling of death, that dark dropping feeling, and from there into what I didn’t know. 

The physical sensations of death, the presence of my sisters, and the strange puzzles and riddles everywhere gave me intense feelings. I was as much disturbed as I was curious.

Last night I dreamed about my mom and dad. It makes sense because I have been thinking about them a lot lately. In my dream my dad’s dad (who died many years ago in real life) was very sick. He and my mom were caring for him but it was obvious that he wouldn’t make it. I went to help them care for him. Because he wasn’t going to bet better and he was still alive I had to come home. I was planning to go back to help them more later or when he died. Severa days passed. I was talking to my sister about it-that I was getting worried because I hadn’t heard from mom and dad to know how our grandfather was doing. She said that she had heard from the already! That he had died and they were planning the funeral. I was so hurt because I had taken the time to help them, not my sister, but they had called to tell her that he had died and not me! Then I was talking to my parents and I told them that I wished they would move to Orlando. That way they would be closer to an airport so I could visit more easily because they wouldn’t have to drive so far to pick me up. And if they moved to a retirement community there would be a lot of activities for them to participate in and people they could meet. Now they live in a rural area and they are very isolated. She said that her and my dad had thought of that but what they really wanted to do is to move closer to my sister so they could spend more time together! I don’t know why I would dream this. I’m not close with my sister but my parents have never expressed a desire to liver closer to her and if they did I’d be happy because I’d know they were looked after. I would love for them to live with me but I live a long way away and I know that isn’t likely to happen. Then I dreamed I was walking down a street with my friend Becky. I saw some really cool animal bones on the side of the road. I’m always looking for anima bones on walks. It’s sort of a hobby. While I was picking up the bones some teenage girls came up to us. One started laughing and pointing at me saying “you’re a WITCH and a B*TCH!!!”  I really found it amusing because I am a witch and I didn’t care what she thought.

As I went up the steps of his old wood framed home I saw him sitting in a rocking chair- to my right-on the front porch. He asked me if I had come for the funeral to which I replied yes.  I was confused and slightly shocked to see him sitting there. At this point I woke up.

I felt I was in communication with my ex-husband who had passed. I felt he was trying to show me something. And I also had a little bit of a heavy feeling in my stomach. A little bit uncomfortable. Not sure why. But he was trying to show me something that looked... It mostly looked like a really fancy pen inside a case that had Styrofoam the shape of the pen. And he showed me many different versions of this. Sometimes, more than a pen, it looked like a tiny leg with a little boot on the end. But it was always something that was about the size of a pen in a box with Styrofoam or something around it. And it would kind of spin around, but it would change forms and colors and things like that. And I really am not sure why he was showing this to me. But it felt kind of good to be back in contact with him.

I was in a doctors office with my mom. I was told that I only had a day and 2 hours left to live. It cut to me being at my grandma’s house with my little brother. I was on my phone and I was continuously searching up things like ‘if I was told I have a day and 2 hours left to live, what is the chance I survive?’. I had also typed this on an app where other people can reply to my messages (instead of a search engine), and there were 20-35 replies under mine. I read through them, but as of now, I can’t remember what any of them said. It then cut to me talking to my little brother about something. I think he wanted me to play something with him and was telling him I was too tired to, but I’m not completely sure. It cut again and the day was about to end. My time was getting really low and I was getting scared and sad. I tried to text everyone in my contacts a goodbye message, but after trying to type one for my mom, I  didn’t think I had the energy to type that much. I curled up on my grandma’s bright red couch and silently cried as I fell into a deep sleep.

I had a dream where I was kidnapped in moms car, at first there was no one in it except me and then it wrecked into a vehicle ahead of it as it was going fast and was out of my control. After it wrecked two old men appeared in the front seat, both with long grey beards and hair. They drove me to a place where they met up with some motorcycle gangster's. They said they wanted to blackmail my mom for ransom using me. As they took me in their motorcycles down the road, I was naked in the mini motorcycle, non-driving seat. I tried to reason with them, trying to figure out who else I could say had money. I even told them mom was poor and I was on social security. I thought about telling them Dad had money but I couldn't remember where he lived. Eventually, we came across police. I started to mouth the word help at them. The main police woman looked to me and asked if I needed something. One of the motorcyclist's warned me. I told the woman no, but then changed my mind and told her the bikers wanted to kill me. Saying this forced the bikers hands, three of them stabbing me in the neck with their knives at the front and sides once. I thought I was dead but then I could hear my mom talking and started talking back to her. I asked, how can I be dead if you're still talking to me? She replied with, wishful thinking goes a long way, you're dead.

I was walking around and I picked up three ducks and I was showing them off to people and they were petting them and then I put them down on some ledges and their heads started coming off so I put the heads back on and one of the ducks died so the cops showed up and we didn't want them to see the dead ducks so I had a blow dart and I was putting each cop to sleep and there were like 10 cops and I put them all to sleep and there was I think two or three cops under it that we kept awake so after the cops were asleep I started making a mock-up of the dead duck so we could send it to the coroner and we had to pay the coroner 12 and a half grand because the coroner knew it was fake I had another dream where we were getting on a plane and flying somewhere and we were all waiting to get on the plane but the plane wasn't taking off

I was at a family réunion. My grandpa came back from the dead and we spoke a lot. Enjoying our short time together. He seamed calmed. Appeased. I asked why.
