This dream was about

I'm in a festival, the whole town is there, everyone's happy, there's kids everywhere, there's balloons, there's food stalls, music, all sorts of things you'd find at a festival. There's not a cloud in the sky, and as we're walking through the town. we pass hundreds of happy people, walking through the streets. Eventually we reach a wide green fielded valley full of flowers and birds, which each side of the valley is walled by trees. The valley dips toward the center and to the opposite end of the valley it rises to a mountain. People at the festival begin moving towards the opposite end of the valley because there are more festivities there. We start reaching the mountain and towards the bottom of that mountain, there are gazebo's on concrete slabs, there's bands set up, more food stalls, souvenier stalls and shaded areas for people to relax. Half way up the mountain is a big house that looks like it was built a long time ago. There are 3 levels to the house, the roofing is steep and black while the rest of the exterior is a calming yellow and white two toned, boarded structure with cast iron railing where steps and stairs are around the house. Inside the house it is full of odd looking edible sculptures, basically extra large cakes and candy. For some reason, I know all of these details about the house but I have never been here before in my life. As I move toward the house, all of a sudden, I feel like something terrible is about to happen. A deep, dark sensation sweeps over the valley, yet only I seem to be aware of it. Everyone enjoying the festivities are unaware of this sensation, yet I continue to move toward the house, almost like I'm being drawn to it. I reach the house, walking through it, seeing more people conversing, laughing, enjoying the sculptures. While in the house I notice the day quickly turns to night but there's something wrong. There are no stars in the sky, the sky is completely black with blue waves through it and I feel my survival instincts rushing over me. I dark red haze becomes slightly noticable in the air, the music has stopped, there is no laughing or talking, only confusion and silence. As I look out the windows on the second floor of the house, the entire valley has turned into a dark wasteland and the people in the valley are under attack by what looks like strange four legged creatures. In my heart I know what they are, these are demons. Some people begin turning into demons, but not everyone does, some people remain the same. The people are being slaughtered by these demons, and I'm right there watching this all unfold. Eventually these demons reach the house and I am now fighting them off. The fighting goes on for hours, along the way I find other people doing the same. We band together, continuing the fight together, coordinating ourselves in different sections of the house. We make our way outside still fighting and one by one we fall to our death amongst the fight. I am the last one left. Through the darkness a large figure appears, another demon, bigger than the rest. These horrible things that are happening around me were brought on by this figure, I know because the other demons begin to fade into dust as it raises it's arm in the air. With the weapons I have gathered, I begin to fight this demon. The fighting, the struggle, the fear, the horror surrounding me begins to consume me and I start to fall into a well of hopelessness. It's too strong and I'm filling myself with doubt. In that moment I think of my children. I remember my partner, their smile, their love, my compassion for life, the need to fight on, the want to live, my obligation to fight for what's right rushes me into a frenzy and I fight harder than I've ever fought in my life. The fear is gone, there's nomore sorrow, I'm not affected by the dead that surround us, I push and push and push until I am victorious, and that demon is gone.. That was the first time I had that dream. The dream happened again a second time. In the dream it felt like a year had gone by since that night. The dream began in the same place as the first, all was the same, but I wasn't. The deep dark feeling was already there for me, but it was slightly drowned out by all the wonderous things surrounding me. I feel a pull toward the house and I begin having flashbacks of what happened there. I have a friend, a religious friend. I search for him to seek his assistance. I explain to him the events that occured the last time I was here but he doesn't believe me at first. I convince him to help me, we bring weapons and provisions we can use to combat what is to come. As we make our way to the valley, night has come earlier than last time and again, there are no stars yet it is a clear night with no clouds. My friend notices this and begins to worry. I tell him not to worry now, the worst is yet to come. Once we reach the house, the events that occured in the first dream begin again, but we're prepared this time. It was easier, the confidence amongst all of us fighting for our lives was comforting and we were victorious once again. Only this time, many more people survived. This morning I had the dream a third time. Another year has gone by and I waste no time. I seek out my friend to ask for help but he is not the same. I can see in his eyes that he knows what's coming, he is traumatised by the events that occurred the last time and at first refuses to be apart of the fighting. I remind him who and what we are fighting for, eventually he agrees and we make preparations. The odd thing I have noticed this time is that I am seeing the same faces, the same people I have seen as I move through the festival over and over again now but they have no idea what's coming? Why is it only my friend and I that are aware of what is to come when they have all been here before doing the exact same things as the previous two times? My friend was the only one that I could tell, that would be able to help I feel, so I leave these thoughts behind and continue on as the dream always plays out. We reach the valley and the night sky is upon us, but this time there are twinkles of light scattered across the green field and in the sky, but they are not stars in the sky. Suddenly, a woman appears, aware of what's coming. She is extremely distressed, she passes rosary beads to my friend and he passes me one. She was trying to help, she would help us prepare at the house. This time we were too late to fully prepare, the fighting began early and we weren't ready. The fighting was an intense struggle, I could hear my friend struggling but I could not see him. Through the fighting, I began to feel like we were going to lose. A demon leaps at me, knocking me over. It snatches my spear and attempts to choke me with it as I'm held down by the weight of this monster. I begin to stress, my eyesight begins to fade, my eyes roll back into darkness, and I awaken from the dream sweaty and unsure of how things ended. I want to go back and finish what has started and I feel like I have left everyone behind to fend for themselves.

Hey Cee! Thank you for sharing your dream with me. It sounds like quite an intense and vivid experience. The festival at the beginning of your dream represents a joyous and celebratory atmosphere, symbolizing a period of happiness and contentment in your life. The presence of children and balloons suggests a sense of innocence and playfulness. As you progress through the dream, the transition from the town to a green field filled with flowers and birds indicates a journey towards tranquility and natural beauty. However, the rows of trees that resemble walls might represent obstacles or barriers that you encounter along your path. The mountain with little houses and sheds portrays a sense of community and creativity. The bands and food stalls signify enjoyment and fulfillment in social interactions. The massive house filled with cake and lollies represents indulgence and temptation, but your feeling of something terrible about to happen suggests a growing unease or fear of losing control. The darkening sky without stars and the blue waves may symbolize a shift in your emotions or a loss of clarity and direction. The demons that emerge and the subsequent fight for survival indicate inner struggles or challenges you may be facing in your waking life. Your repeated dreams and the involvement of different individuals suggest a recurring theme or situation that you are trying to confront or overcome. While the dream doesn't provide a specific resolution, it's important to acknowledge your courage and determination in facing these demons. It could be an indication of your resilience and strength in dealing with difficult circumstances. However, the fact that you woke up without knowing the outcome suggests a lingering uncertainty or fear regarding the current challenges you face. Remember, dreams can be complex and have multiple interpretations. It's essential to reflect on your personal experiences, emotions, and any ongoing situations in your life that might relate to the themes presented in the dream. Exploring these connections may help you gain further insights and find ways to address any underlying concerns or fears. I hope this interpretation provides you with some guidance, Cee. If you have any further questions or need additional support, feel free to ask.
