Dream Of Owning A Store In A Mall
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I had purchased a store inside of a mall. I named it or it was already named "Skadoodled". It used to be a small store where parents could come in and just sit and play with their children. I turned it into a brand new store. I had a room just for teenagers that had a large TV and couch where they could hang out and play video games. And the main portion of the store had sensory toys and candies for little kids. We made the candies right there but there was a place in the food court that used our smoothie mixes and prepared them so people could taste them. I remember painting the walls. There was an issue with a bathroom in the mall that was closest to my store and the old customers of the original shop said it was my responsibility to fix that bathroom. I was like no it's the mall's and refused to take cate of it. The mall did. I hired people to work for me and they were great workers. At 1 point one of my ex boyfriends from high school came in and was harassing me and I warned him that I would remove him from the area and he would go to jail. He continued to be a bother and I was able to wrestle him down and put him in a cat carrier. Then I contacted the authorities and they told me where to bring him. I walked into an office and the owner was talking to someone. They were standing in front of a huge desk. The owner looked st me and acted like he knew me very well, saying hi and told me to just put him in the back. I felt like this was a veterinary clinic. When I was walking towards the back there was a small blue spider in the side of the desk. I remember it jumping at me but landing on the floor. I got rid of my ex in the cat carrier in a back room where they would handle him there. When I walked back around the desk the spider was still jumping on the floor. I went back to the mall and stopped to get one of our smoothies. An officer was standing there and he was asking about the smoothie and was saying how great they were and I was very happy to hear the good remarks and then I told him that I make them and showed him the store.

Connie, your dream of transforming a small store into a vibrant space for both teenagers and children is quite vivid and symbolic. The act of renaming and repurposing the store to "Skadoodled" suggests a desire for creativity, change, and leaving your personal mark on something. The inclusion of areas dedicated to different age groups represents an understanding and appreciation of the diverse needs of others, perhaps reflecting your own life experiences or aspirations to cater to the well-being of those around you. The situation with the bathroom in the mall and the former customers' demands indicates you may be dealing with expectations from others in your waking life, potentially related to past roles or responsibilities. Your refusal to fix the bathroom, asserting that it was the mall's duty, shows a healthy boundary you are setting. It's a sign of personal growth and the ability to separate your obligations from those that are not yours to shoulder. Hiring competent workers for your store in the dream points to a sense of trust in delegation and leadership abilities. This could reflect your confidence in your judgment and the decisions you make in your personal or professional life. It's also a positive sign that you're comfortable with the team or community you've built around yourself, which is functioning effectively. The confrontation with an ex-boyfriend from high school in your dream, and the subsequent wrestling down and containment in a cat carrier, may represent unresolved issues or the way you handle conflicts. Your decisive action in the dream is indicative of your assertiveness and ability to deal with difficult situations decisively. It's also a metaphor for putting past relationships or issues behind you, as you've literally confined the problem and handed it off to authorities in the dream. The blue spider jumping at you but landing on the floor could symbolize a perceived threat or challenge that ultimately fails to harm you. Spiders often represent feelings of being entangled or threatened by something. However, your ability to continue on and return to the mall without harm suggests resilience and the capacity to manage your fears or anxieties effectively. Finally, the interaction with the officer and the praise you receive for the smoothies you make reflects a sense of pride in your achievements and the positive reinforcement you receive from others. It conveys a recognition of your hard work and the impact it has on people, which seems to bring you a great deal of happiness and satisfaction. Overall, Connie, your dream reflects a journey of personal growth, creative expression, and the navigation of challenges with confidence. It suggests that you are in a phase where you're setting boundaries, taking charge, and finding fulfillment in your endeavors. The pride and joy you feel in the dream about your achievements are feelings that you likely carry with you in your waking life.
