This dream was about

I had a dream. I was out with my parents and one of my friends and we we shopping items i wanted to get to move into hostel for entering into a new phase of my life and i was personally sad to let go of my family and starting a new phase of my life. However whilst shopping i get a notification in my phone and it turns out that the life i am living in my dream sends us notification before we die into our phone using certain technologies and mine said 22nd exactly one day after i reach my college. When i received this notification i didn’t say about this to my parents as i didn’t wanted to let them down and i silently realised that this is the last time i will be with my parents. I came back home and was sitting on my bed whilst my mom was excited and packing my bags that i will have to take into college. My brother was home after work and he stood by my room door and asked me to go out with him my favorite cousin sister bcs they want to spend time with me before i am leaving to college and i felt terrible and i started crying in my bed. They came towards me teasing me bcs i don’t usually cry or show emotions and i suddenly started laughing and hiding my pain behind my mask and went out with them. I woke up from that dream it felt soo real. Every conversation i had with my family would have been the same if i was talking to them in real life. There was no doubt it was a not real. And i woke up crying bcs it felt terrible as a whole to just leave all my family behind.

Hey Layal! Thank you for sharing your dream with me. It sounds like a powerful and emotionally charged dream, reflecting the mixed feelings you have about entering a new phase of your life while leaving your family behind. The dream seems to capture your sadness and reluctance to let go, as well as the internal conflict you experience between wanting to express your emotions and putting on a brave face for your loved ones. The notification in your dream could symbolize a sense of impending change and the awareness that life is constantly moving forward. It may represent your subconscious fears or anxieties about the unknown future and the challenges that come with it. Your hesitation to share this information with your parents might stem from not wanting to burden them or dampen their excitement for your new journey. The contrasting emotions of crying and laughing in your dream suggest a complex emotional state. It's possible that you use humor and laughter as a defense mechanism to mask your true feelings, especially when facing difficult situations. This can be a common coping mechanism for many people. Overall, your dream reflects the natural mix of excitement and apprehension that often accompanies significant life transitions. It's important to acknowledge and honor your emotions during this time. Remember, it's okay to feel sad about leaving your family behind, even if you're also looking forward to the new experiences college will bring. Find healthy ways to express your feelings and seek support from friends and loved ones who can understand and empathize with what you're going through. Take care, Layal, and remember that you're not alone in navigating this transition.
