Dream About Haunted Hotel Stay
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

Me and my friend are traveling. She booked a hotel for us but when we get there i get a bad feeling about the room. It looks old and creepy, and in the dream i google it to read more about it. Turns out its a very old and hunted hotel, i see old photos of the room where everything is in bright colours, shiny postulin dolls all around the room and the hotel was called The Doll House. I look up from the old picture and the room looks similar but is very old and the dolls are broken and creepy all around the room. The colours are not bright anymore and everything seems gray and dark. I ask my friend about it and the laughs thinking it would be funny to stay at a hunted hotel. I get really scared and tell her that we need to get away. The bookcase starts moving around, light flicker and things started to get really creepy. My and my friend both get really scared and try to cancel the stay. We manage to get out of the hotel but without our bags. We find another hotel close by but we need to go back to get our bags. The guy at the desk tries to delay our stay there, as there was a time limit for us to be there and after the time has expired we would be stuck there forever.

Hey Dagny! Thank you for sharing your dream with me. It sounds like quite an intense and unsettling experience. The theme of traveling with a friend and encountering a creepy hotel suggests that there may be some underlying feelings of unease or uncertainty in your waking life. The hotel in your dream represents a situation or aspect of your life that initially seems appealing or exciting, but upon closer inspection, reveals hidden darkness or negative aspects. The old photos with bright colors and shiny dolls symbolize a past time or memory that was once vibrant and joyful. However, the broken and creepy dolls, along with the gray and dark atmosphere, indicate that this past joy has faded or been tainted in some way. Your friend's laughter when you express your fear suggests a lack of understanding or support from someone close to you regarding your concerns or anxieties. This could reflect a real-life situation where you feel misunderstood or dismissed by someone you trust. The moving bookcase, flickering lights, and overall creepiness represent a growing sense of danger or discomfort in the situation. Your instinct to leave and find another hotel signifies your desire to distance yourself from this unsettling environment. However, leaving your bags behind highlights the potential consequences or sacrifices involved in making such a decision. The guy at the desk delaying your stay and the time limit imply that there may be external pressures or constraints that make it difficult for you to escape or move away from this unsettling situation. This could be related to obligations or responsibilities that hold you back from pursuing what truly makes you feel safe and secure. Overall, this dream suggests that you may be grappling with a situation or relationship in your waking life that initially seemed promising or enjoyable but has now revealed its darker side. It's important to trust your instincts and prioritize your own well-being, even if it means leaving behind certain attachments or facing challenges. Remember, you have the strength to navigate through these unsettling situations and create a safer and more fulfilling environment for yourself.
