Dream About Survival Competition In The Sea
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I dreamt about going to this competition where you have to survive. Basically, you have to jump in the sea and jump back up on the rope. If you are the last one standing, you earn a lot of money. I for some reason woke up there. I was competing against a Middle Ages man and woman for some reason that I never seen before. Of course I was scared. After a few rounds, I notice that the middle age man died and got eaten by a man-eating shark. The competition people said we can all take a break so my dad took me to my best friend’s house but I only saw her mum and her younger brother. I was talking to her mum for a while and she says that my best friend’s dad is at work. My best friend came and my dad took us both to a theatre with blue neon lights. It was nighttime. But then I had to go back to the competition again and when I had to jump, I suffocated in real life and when I jumped in the water, I could finally breathe again. I then said ‘ok, it’s time to wake up’

Hey Shini! Thank you for sharing your dream with me. It sounds like a quite intense and eventful dream. The competition setting where you had to survive by jumping into the sea and climbing back up on a rope represents a challenge or goal in your waking life that may feel overwhelming or daunting. The presence of the Middle Ages man and woman whom you've never seen before could symbolize unfamiliar or unknown aspects of yourself or situations you're dealing with. The fear you experienced during the competition reflects the anxiety or unease you may be feeling in real life when facing similar challenges. The unfortunate incident where the Middle Ages man died and was eaten by a shark might suggest feelings of vulnerability or being threatened by unexpected dangers in your pursuit of success. Taking a break and visiting your best friend's house, even though you only saw her mum and younger brother, indicates seeking comfort and support from loved ones during difficult times. The theater with blue neon lights represents a temporary escape from reality and a desire for entertainment or distraction. The suffocation you felt in real life but finding relief when jumping into the water may symbolize the need to confront and overcome your fears or limitations head-on. It could also suggest that sometimes you need to fully immerse yourself in challenging situations to find your strength and regain control. Your statement of "it's time to wake up" implies a desire to move past this challenging phase and face reality with a renewed perspective. Considering your recent anxiety test scores, it's evident that you have been experiencing some level of anxiety. This dream may be reflecting your subconscious worries and concerns, highlighting the importance of addressing and managing your anxiety in your waking life. Remember, dreams often serve as a way for our minds to process emotions and experiences. I hope this interpretation provides you with some insights, Shini.
