Dream About People Rampaging Parents House

Multiple people and children were rampaging my parents house and breaking in. When the first person walked in they made eye contact with everyone that was in the room and bee-lined it straight to my parents bedroom to steal things. The whole family piled in the room to take the man down. I yelled at him while crying that he needed to stop or we will call the police. But everyone let him go and let him leave. Shortly afterwards, more people were breaking in and let go. At one point I saw children playing with my mother's things in the front yard like glass globe lamps and taking bats to wooden benches. At one point people were just coming up to the door and I would have to open it and talk to them to see what they wanted and risk getting hurt or hope at the very least nothing bad happens. But the whole time this was happening I was scared, crying and yelling at everyone around me. Most people didn't listen to what I had to say. But I was just trying to stop them. Later in the dream people that I know in my waking life were coming over to visit and there were two orphaned girls sitting together in the bright sun at a table on the back deck of the house with blankets over there heads.
