Dream

I dreamt I was back together with my ex husband. This time we had two little boys, a baby and a toddler (in reality we had only girls). In the dream we lived in the city and he had decided to join a yoga class, which in reality is my thing but not really something he cares about. He didn't do it to connect with me at all, he didn't regard me in his decision, I don't think he even knew I did yoga. He made his decision irregardless of anyone else, which was true to life. He wasnt very good at it, and I told him I didn't think yoga was right for him, I think I felt angry at him for trying something I viewed as "mine", and also for doing something I regarded as sacred with his usual attitude of trying to conquer things. But then his yoga instructor and his boss both told him the same thing, and I felt really sorry and guilty that I had said that to him. I didn't want him to feel sad at all, I just wanted him to not do something I felt was my sacred thing. While I was waiting for him, I was sitting with two other men whose spouses were in the class, and we were sitting on fold-out chairs in the middle of a busy road. When we put the chairs there, the traffic was moving slowly, it was peak hour, so moving easily past us. But all of a sudden the traffic cleared and the cars began speeding toward us, unable to see us in time to swerve easiy around us, so we thoughr we should move our chairs. Then my husband and his workmates came out of the class and as he and I were walking home, we came upon and injured person. As my husband is a policeman, he bagan first aid, but again, it wasnt something he was good at. I was relieved when the first aid officer from his work came out to help. I left for some reason, leaving our sons with him there. When I came back, he'd wedged the baby into a shallow hole he'd dug in the ground, to keep him safe. (Like a highchair, the baby was sitting with his upper body and hands above the top of the hole.) The baby was getting tired and cranky, and the toddler was too. We left then and started home, with me feeling both sorry for my husband for his disappointing day, but also frustrated with him for just being so bad at all the things.

Dream

Last nights dream was very clear and lifelike. I have some acreage in a rural area with a long driveway between my house and barn. I have seen bald eagles occasionally. In the dream I was walking from my barn to my house. The sun was bright and warm. On the way I saw two bald eagles circling just above the tree tops. I stopped a moment to admire them. Closer to my house I saw three more eagles perched in a tree about 50 feet away from my house. As I approached two of them took flight, went up about 100 feet, then dove straight down in a spiral , locking talons. Just before reaching the ground they separated and flew off in the direction as the first two. Immediately the last eagle left it’s perch in the tree and followed. This dream felt more like a vision than a dream.

Dream

A pretty easy dream. There was a bargain, serving up two hamburgers and a beer, and I asked If I could get a soda instead of the beer. I resisted the twin temptations of a bargain since beer is more expensive than soda and the temptation of an all American beer

Dream

I was briefly in a car driven by someone else. I also remember painting or creating this huge 3-D mural of galloping zebras with inky, huge, feathered black wings. They were running across green hills and I remember seeing myself in the background in the car at times, I had the wind in my hair and the sun in my face, and at other times I was drawing or painting the scene itself, especially giving the animals wings. I felt very open and creative but also a little overwhelmed.

Dream

I was in a video game. I was sneaking around a castle with a group of allies whom I was responsible for healing. One main alley was called a “golem” and he was much bigger and stronger than me, he looked to be a semi-skeleton man with brown hair. I was wearing a little golden shirt and black hat, one of those medieval style hats with a feather. My enemies consisted of legions of blonde white girls who were extremely mean. These girls also had teams of vampires and skeletons working for them. On an upper floor of the castle in a huge library, there was a huge battle I had to win. There were groups of enemies, skeletons, vampires, and other monsters, and at first my team took down groups one by one. Eventually though my team was dispersing a bit too much and triggering new groups to attack before we were ready, so we ended up getting ambushed. I did my best to heal everyone and keep going but I realized we’d fail, so I let it happen and started the major battle over. This time I was much more strategic, and I saw my team slowly and in more detail. We kept tight against walls, and we made it to the back of the library, where I went out onto a deck and had an argument with one of those white girl enemies. I remember gazing at blue and gold clouds in the evening sky, and trying to sing for these girls. I had to sing super high notes and I did well on one round, then worse on the second, and an invisible female narrator sympathized with me, saying she knew I couldn’t sing well because these conservative white women were so cruel. Another part of the dream was looking at a Wanted poster or some sort of public notice about a criminal with my allies beside me. It was sunny and green outside and I was sitting against a stony wall. One of the enemy girls approached me, she had super long curled blonde hair. She expected me to respond to the public notice a certain way, and I pretended to so she would leave me alone. She wanted me to condemn the person on the poster, so I acted like I did when actually I admired the person. The girl left and when she looked back later I pretended to look disgusted, and as soon as she looked away, my face went neutral. Overall the dream was funny and self-aware, like I knew I was dreaming a video game on some level. I think the white girls represented religion (my family had a long conversation about religion last night, and how our born again extended families at times disrespected or alienated us because we’re not Christian). The whole thing was a video game because I’ve been annoyed and disrespected by the religious family I do have, but I don’t ultimately take it that seriously.
