I Dreamt Of Horseback Riding Guthrie
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

Riding horses in a trail in a city where there are cliffs with Chrissy and Guthrie. Guthrie isn’t wanting too and then is into it. Then saying goodbye to Chela and others. With a woman backing up a truck. One of the men is gathering clothing for Justin MacBreyer to sell in the States. Brenda is worried if the man is going to Oaxaca. He says he’ll be careful. Back at Bayfield. Lots of dogs. There are 2 bridges. Company leads across wrong one . Opening up grain bin-smells of mice. Dint need grain anymore. We remember. Hummingbird sitting inside a nose. Baby brownie.. Looking at my garden. I planted a lot but very few thing came up. Should I plant more? And then it’s so much work. Mom is working on some of it.

Janine, your dream of riding horses with Chrissy and Guthrie through a city with cliffs suggests a sense of adventure and navigating through life's obstacles with friends who share varying levels of enthusiasm. The initial reluctance of Guthrie, who later finds joy in the activity, could reflect an aspect of your social circle where you may feel responsible for encouraging others to embrace new experiences or changes. The goodbye to Chela and others symbolizes transitions and parting ways, hinting at your feelings regarding shifts in your personal relationships. The man gathering clothing for Justin MacBreyer to sell indicates a connection to your community or a desire to help others, perhaps reflecting your altruistic nature. Brenda's concern for the man's safety on his journey to Oaxaca could represent your own worries for the well-being of those around you. The return to Bayfield and the presence of many dogs points to a return to familiarity and the comfort of companionship. The two bridges and the company leading across the wrong one suggest choices in life and the potential guidance from others that may not always align with your best path. Discovering the grain bin with the scent of mice and realizing there's no need for grain anymore could symbolize a recognition of life's redundancies or unnecessary burdens that you've been holding onto. It's a moment of reflection on what's essential and what can be let go. The hummingbird inside a nose, with its unusual and whimsical imagery, might represent the small joys and curiosities in life, inviting you to pause and appreciate the delicate, often overlooked, aspects of your daily experiences. The baby brownie in your garden and the few plants that came up despite your efforts suggest feelings of disappointment or questioning the worth of your hard work. The presence of your mother, however, working on some of it, offers a sense of support and shared responsibility. Connecting this to your previous dreams, there seems to be a recurring theme of social interactions and the roles you and others play within them. From the stark revelation of feelings in one dream (with Bob declaring his dislike) to the more collaborative and social aspects in others (such as the party and the colleague), your dreams may be reflecting on the dynamics of your relationships and how you navigate social belonging and exclusion. Reflecting on your life event of retiring from teaching medical sociology, the dream could be expressing your adjustment to a new phase of life where the structure and responsibilities you once had are shifting. The garden not flourishing as expected might mirror your feelings about your achievements and the legacy you've left in your professional life. It's a time of introspection, considering what new seeds to plant in this next chapter of your life. Janine, your dream is rich with symbolic imagery and emotions that mirror the complexities of transitions, the value of relationships, and the search for purpose after significant life changes. It highlights your compassionate nature and the consideration you have for the bonds you share with others, as well as the personal introspection you're undergoing as you adapt to new beginnings post-retirement.
