I dreamed that I got a job at a strip club. Passing through several rooms, I finally arrived at the one where different people were. I saw a very beautiful girl sitting in the arms of a man. On closer inspection, that man was a married co-worker. I have very strong feelings of disappointment, because in real life this colleague works at my workplace with his wife, so I know her. I didn't expect to see him in my dream, of all people. He seems to really love his wife and would never cheat on her. He looks at me confused and asks me "And what if you found me here? I don't care, you can do what you want." I storm out of the room as the other girls try to stop me, telling me that it's normal for married men to come here. I tell them that "all men are the same" and then I wake up from the dream with a strong pain in my chest.

Hello Theodora-Nicol, The dream you had about the strip club and your married co-worker may reflect your underlying thoughts on trust and commitment. Encountering your co-worker in such a setting, especially when it is contrary to his real-life persona, could symbolize your anxieties about the unexpected in relationships. The strong feelings of disappointment and the pain in your chest upon waking suggest a deep emotional response to perceived betrayal or infidelity, even if it's not directly related to your personal experiences. Your dream seems to be a manifestation of inner conflict regarding trust and possibly a fear of being let down by those you hold in high regard. It's interesting to note the parallel to a previous dream where you discovered someone you liked was already in a relationship. This theme of betrayal and trust continues to surface, indicating it might be a significant concern for you. The strong reaction you had in the dream, asserting that "all men are the same," coupled with your recent GAD-7 rating, suggests that these dreams may be influenced by your current anxiety levels. The recurring theme of disappointment in relationships seems to be echoing your conscious or subconscious emotional state. It's important to consider these feelings and how they might be affecting your view of relationships and trust.
We explain why you have seen this dream and use it to identify what is blocking your mental health and happiness.
