Dream About Abandoned Building And Encounter With Deceased Great Grandparents
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I was walking late at night with friends exploring what looked like abandoned buildings. Further back behind these building was a shed or a small mobile home. I started walking towards this place away from my friends as if I was drawn to it and couldn’t stop. My friends asked me what I was doing I told them to go with me they all said no so I let them go and told them I needed to go to that mobile home and I’ll catch up with them later. As I was getting closer to the door a crow came out of nowhere and flew into my face I was able to grab it and throw it on the floor before stepping on it. I walk into the home. Sitting on the sofa was my great grandpa who had passed away. He was staring at the tv that was on but there was only static and loud static noise on there like a channel that didn’t work. I try to talk to him but get no response. I’m drawn towards the hall way that is straight ahead and start looking back there. As I begin to move towards the hallway I hear a creek from behind me so I turn around and the front door closes revealing my great grandma who has also passed away now standing there blocking the door. Where her eyes should be are just two black holes and no eye balls she’s staring towards me and lets out a loud screeching noise. I ask her to stop as I’m calling her name and I begin to cry and wail in my dream she starts walking towards me and that is when I wake up.

Hello Nick, Your dream seems to be a reflection of the significant changes and losses you have experienced in your life. The abandoned buildings could symbolize aspects of your life that you've left behind, especially after moving to a new city for work. Being drawn to the mobile home could represent your subconscious longing for familiarity or a return to roots, possibly linked to feelings of homesickness or isolation. The crow attacking you might signify a disruptive event or news - considering your recent life events, it could be related to the loss of your friend Carmen or the health issues you've been dealing with. Seeing your late great-grandparents could indicate a desire for comfort, wisdom, or guidance during these challenging times. Your great-grandmother's appearance might be a manifestation of your fears or anxieties, possibly stemming from the losses you've recently suffered. This dream seems to be intertwined with several major life events. Your move to Chicago for work, which was a big step away from your familiar surroundings, could be symbolized by the abandoned buildings. The sudden appearance of the crow could be connected to the unexpected and painful loss of Carmen. The presence of your great-grandparents might be tied to the recent passing of your loved one's family members, triggering memories of your own familial losses. Remember, dreams are a way for our subconscious to process our daily lives and emotions. It's completely normal to see reflections of significant life events in them. Take care, Nick.
