Dream Of Printers And Bodies
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I had a dream I had 3 printers from my dad who died a few years ago. One of my co- workers wanted to buy one cause he needed it for work, and I needed the money. He picked the really nice one that had a computer or stereo feauture, and handed me his wallet while getting it to his car. He had several types of bills including hundreds. I took out 60 dollars, then ended up pulling out 10 more later. I was very worried about forgetting to get any disks or anything that belonged to my dad out of it before he took it. Then I dreamed I was stopped by this river with my sister, and I can't remember who else was there. But it was right next to this intersection for a train. I saw a phone right by the river plugged into a blue cord and the screen was on. I grabbed the phone where the blue cord was leading into the water, and it led me to a girls body floating in the water. I could only see her left arm but I knew it was a girl somehow. I went to call the police and realized I was using her phone, and that it was working still. It wouldn't let me get through to the police though. When I finally got ahold of her and told her I just found a body, she cursed as if right away she knew whp she was. Later I found out but can't remember. In another part I had a job working with a co-worker and my ex boyfriend. It was some kind of convenience store. This ex was the first love of my life. In the dream he owed ten bucks to the other guy, and asked me for money, I said I needed to break a 20. My ex mother in law showed up and they were getting high before the shift. They offered me some and I did it. The boss came in who I guess is the one providing the drugs for them to sale, and said they needed to go get more. In the car we did more on the way. When we got there it looked like a retirement home. We had to go through a couple doors and one of them was a room that looked like they were about to start class. I was falling behind so I ran as fast as I could to make it to the door before it got locked for their class. They were glass doors and windows, and there was a man sitting next to the door when i went through, he looked irritated, and I realized someone was coming in behind me. The man sitting by the door made some kind of comment that they needed to lock the door so more people couldn't come through. Exiting that roo. I went into in a swimming area. Somehow we ended up just staying at this place, it was like we weren't able to leave after that. My parents were there, and a different co-worker than the two from my dream earlier. We were drinking vidka and whiskey, but there was another liquid there called gas that was pink, and getting people really messed up. We were trying to find who was doing it and hiding it around. The co-worker started flirting with me and wanted to go to my room. One of my parents poured me and him a glass of wild turkey whiskey. I told him I needed to clean my room up a little bit first, and went and took the shot in my room. I grabbed the garbage bag and started outside when I found a group of strangers in my living room. One man insinuated I was leaving because he just arrived and that I was being rude. I could tell the energy was off with these people so I just said I was throwing away garbage and coming back in. Someone followed me outside to watch me. Another guy was talking to me about how he had a woman but he was a cheater and he liked our chemistry. I was disgusted and mockingly said our energy was great. He could tell I was being sarcastic because his face shifted into irritation. There was a man and woman you could tell were leaders of the group, the man was the same one assuming I was leaving earlier, and he had his arm around this woman on the couch. He told me to find the vodka, and I knew my mother had hid it. So I told him there was that pink bottle on the fridge and he knew what it was and insisted on the vodka. While searching, the man's son who was a young adult, came and informed me his dad was a computer and trade genius, and had sneakily bought this place online 3 years before. I told my mom to tell me where she hid it, and she said her drawer with the shirts. She had multiple mostly empty bottles of different brands of vodka, and a bottle of beer. She told me not to pull out any of them, except what he specifically asked for. It didn't surprise me, she was an alcoholic and would get sick without it. I put the bottle on the kitchen counter and went to the couch and asked them for their shot glasses. The girl suddenly said they weren't gonna be drinking any because they can't party like that. The man then told her to wait, and said I needed to card them, like they were in a bar. They both thought it would be funny. So I asked them for their I.d.'s I a mock voice while scrunching my nose and they said that was so cute. But I did it because I thought I might see who they were. But then I woke up.

Tressa, your dream presents a vivid tapestry of experiences and emotions that seem to weave together your relationships, memories, and perhaps unresolved feelings. The printers from your late father symbolize not only a connection to him but also the weight of responsibility and the memories tied to your relationship. The fact that a co-worker wanted to buy one evokes a sense of loss; you might feel the need to let go of certain aspects of your past, yet there's an underlying fear of forgetting elements that represent your father, such as the disks that you worried about. This reflects a struggle between moving on and holding onto important memories, highlighting how our past can influence our present decisions. The scene by the river with your sister introduces a more unsettling element. The phone, connected by a blue cord to the water, suggests a connection to deeper emotions or situations that may be submerged yet still affect you. The discovery of the girl's body is a striking image, possibly representing feelings of abandonment or loss that you might associate with unresolved issues in your life. The girl cursing upon hearing about her body could symbolize frustration with situations you feel trapped in or unable to escape from. This part of your dream indicates a confrontation with hidden truths or repressed feelings that, once acknowledged, can be quite overwhelming. Your experience in the convenience store with your ex-boyfriend adds another layer of complexity to your dream. This setting is steeped in nostalgia and perhaps unresolved feelings from your past relationship. The act of needing to break a $20 bill suggests a feeling of being stuck or needing to negotiate your resources—both emotional and financial. The presence of your ex's mother and the use of drugs may point toward escapism or a desire to break free from your current circumstances. The setting transitioning to a sort of educational environment, along with the urgency to get through locked doors, reflects a fear of missing opportunities and the pressure you might feel in your waking life to succeed or keep up with social expectations. As the dream progresses into a party-like atmosphere, where you are surrounded by your parents and new characters, it seems to portray a chaotic blend of familiarity and discomfort. The drinking and the presence of the pink liquid called 'gas' could symbolize toxic relationships or situations that you are trying to navigate. Your interactions with strangers reveal a tension between wanting to connect and recognizing the energy that feels off. The encounter with the man who expresses interest in you, despite being a cheater, might reflect your awareness of unhealthy dynamics in relationships. You may be grappling with your boundaries and how to assert them in various social contexts. This dream ultimately presents a rich landscape of your emotional world. It highlights themes of loss, the complexity of past relationships, and the ongoing negotiation of your identity and boundaries in present contexts. Each scene connects to deeper fears and desires, suggesting that you are in a phase of reckoning with who you are now versus who you have been. As you process these vivid experiences, consider what elements resonate most with your current life and how they might guide you toward understanding your emotions and relationships more clearly.
