Dream

I was in college, but my current age and walking home from an event. The event was experimenting with different churches to understand what others experience. It was also trying to address issues with judgment around races. The church that I attended that evening, was a gospel church. I’m not sure what denomination that is, but it was predominantly black and many of the attendees were afraid and judgmental. I really enjoyed the service but during the entire time it was raining. And they were holes in the roof, so it was actually raining inside. I remember trying to find a seat and coming in to the service and I was told just sit anywhere and it seemed like we were in an aisle, but they were also pews so I sat next to someone and in front of me another woman had an umbrella. She put it up for her and a few other others, but I decided that I enjoyed the rain during the musical part there was also a mix of existing parishioners and new parishioners trying to integrate their styles. A teenage boy who was playing guitar came to the front and said look mom and dad. I have a smile on my face and I’m playing, even though I’m not comfortable. Some people jumped up and said oh that’s racist that’s racist that shouldn’t be allowed. And the parents were so confused because they were trying to get him to see another side, but also the way he said it was condescending. I thought people need to understand that he was trying he just didn’t say it in the right way. And my sister was with me and she jumped up and said that’s so racist. You shouldn’t talk like that. I wanted to say to her let him be don’t be judgmental. After the music, the preacher came and started talking about loving your neighbor he was a black man and looked very familiar to me, but I can’t remember who he was. Some of what he was saying didn’t make sense to me. I was trying to understand, but it was like garbled. the next scene I’m walking home from the service and I get detoured somehow to a neighborhood. I don’t know yet. It’s somewhat familiar because it’s a walk I’ve taken before I need to get through to a Main Street and I want to take a shortcut but in taking the shortcut I have to walk through someone’s private yard. I tried to do that and get blocked by a fence. I move to go around it and find this little opening that I would have to squeeze through. Blocking that path are 5-6 feral cats. I don’t want to have a run in with wild cats so I decide to take another route. And as I go back to this route, there is a dog that looked to be a young Doberman pincher. I tried to walk quickly away, but he was fast and ran and grabbed the edge of my coat. I looked for something to distract him because I could tell he was young. I had some talisman’s in my pocket. They were angels. Two were made from ceramic, but one was made from plastic resin. I use them to distract the dog from my coat and then his baby teeth bit into my skin on my hand, but I put the angel in his mouth. This distracted him until his owner came out on the porch and was calling for the dog. The man was a little younger than me and was worried that he had gotten out and was gone. He was also worried that I would hurt the dog and asked me not to hurt him. We had a discussion about dogs and that I knew that this was a young dog that hadn’t intended to hurt me. He was just protecting his space. And so I distracted him with the angel. The man was very grateful and we sat and chatted for a little bit more.

Dream

I'm in a tiny laundry room trying to do laundry on a ship at sea. The little washing machine is bolted down to the floor so it doesn't tip over. The boat hits rough seas, water so choppy I have to hold onto the washer to stay upright. The floor tiles it's bolted to, large squares, begin to rock back and forth and the machine nearly tips over. I grab onto it and press down with all my might trying to steady it. I'm told we are nearly at our destination but the weather is bad and the only way to safety is in a shuttle pod. Suddenly I'm on the waters surface on a much smaller boat, riding the rough seas...up waves as tall as mountains and then crashing back down. We are wearing dive suits and as we hear the rendezvous point I'm told this entrance is usually only used by JSOC operators but they have cleared us for entry due to the emergency situation. We abandon ship and dive in the water. My suit powers me through the water down into the depths, where I see an underwater sea base and a docking bay for submarines. I swim down and join the queue waiting to be let in. I'm running out of air and holding my breath. I motion frantically at my mouth and someone grabs me and pulls me into the air pocket inside. I gasp and suck air in grateful to be alive.

Dream

I was at some event that felt like a thesis defense or presentation by Toni Morrison. The panel involved a “colorful mother” who might have been Isabel Allende, she had very unique readings of Morrison, and RuPaul, who was acting as a sensitivity reader for Morrison’s representation of a gay character. The room was drab and everyone except the “colorful mother” wore dark clothes. I also looked at a picture of Morrison as a woman in her thirties, serious and academic, and wondered how she lived her life in terms of food and mundane stuff. I imagined her making dinner for her sons. I imagined her family thinking that academia was the best and most inevitable place for her. I went down a stairwell and a few others went up, and I saw my friend and classmate Alaina, she was on her way home from work and seemed stressed/unable to interact much. I wanted to offer her a ride home (as I’ve done before) but for some reason missed my chance. I ended up being behind her in my car while she rode her bike, it was nighttime, and there was another male biker between us, and no lights except that of my car on the dark road. Next I remember opening the car trunk and thinking about getting a bike rack, and dissembling a scooter into two parts in order to fit it into a metal net with large rings inside my truck. As I did this someone was hovering or watching me, at least one dark figure that seemed young and male, and maybe a second person. I felt like they were watching my stuff with intent to steal it or otherwise cause trouble for me, but nothing happened. Next, I got out of a car in a sunny rustic Mediterranean landscape. My attire and demeanor matched the landscape, I felt bouncy and pretty and light. I left my phone in my car on purpose. The area became more city-like and I cut thru some streets and alleys (crossing three blocks not using sidewalk or crosswalk), when I saw a young white woman in grey sweats, a white T shirt, a snapback, and she had long brown hair. She seemed homeless and extremely frustrated. Our paths were incidentally crossing, and I avoided her as she seemed like she’d react if I got too close. I did need to loop back a bit on my route as I wanted to go back and get my phone, but she walked back my way a little and I got scared, so I identified a church steeple far away and reacted as if is meant to go that way all along and kept walking that way. I was still aware of the woman who was either following me or just on her way somewhere near me. I got to a really complex and dangerous intersection, and despite following the walk signs, cars would zip past whenever they wanted, and I got nearly hit several times. I gestured at the walk signs to emphasize I had right of way, but drivers still did what they wanted. I woke up randomly and 10 minutes later someone’s car crashed near my apartment. I hope they’re okay.

Dream

Very famous, in my dream world, very, very famous. And then people start to hang out with me, they realize that I'm very important and very famous. And I have a lot of assistants all around the world. And Lance, my friend from London, he said that he had to log in to my website and he had to get my website and my login, and he couldn't get a hold of me. And he said, I had to get hundreds of different logins to get into your account to help you. And I've been trying to reach you, you weren't available. And then I was traveling to different places and being a lot in front of the camera, I met somebody while I was traveling. And he was somebody special. There was something about this guy that I really liked. I met him not in LA, I met him in another state or another country. And it was almost like a love at first sight.

In some far away place I was much younger and spending time with Tina. Time is a young woman I tried to help for ten years but addicted to substances put her life in danger and she was murdered ten years ago I didn’t realize it until upon awakening that I was spending time with someone who does. My next dream was a dire need to leave the country before all of the concentration camps were completed and the boarders were locked

What I remember of the dream was it was a school type environment and I was accused of doing something that all of the other students including my older brother were pretty upset with me. I was friendly was a boy who was in a relationship but there was nothing going on between us and no one believed it. I got shunned. I was showing up at school with an attitude like I just didn't care because I did not do what they had accused me. It was pretty bad.

I was at my what looked at my moms house but if wasn’t the garage was in the middle instead of on the right side of the house and when I went in through the garage there was 3 pools two small shallow ones only about 1 foot or so deep and 1 bigger pool about 3-4 feet deep not really big enough to swim but maybe just hang out in but they were all in the middle of the house inside pools I was talking to my mom she said we will be watching a little jack Russel dog and if I can stay over and help her watch it I said yes and then I noticed in the 1st small pool there was an alligator at the bottom she said where and steps in the water I said watch out it’s right by your foot she accidentally stepped on it and fall backwards out of the pool big the gator didn’t move I put on some sharp rings just incase I would have to fight it off we made some loud noises but that only scared him to run into the bigger deeper pool he stayed at the bottom and there was a Nala from lion king stuff animal he was cuddling with I couldn’t find the little dog and was scared something would happen so I slept in the living room in a lounge chair worried the gator would do something but he never did I woke up went back to sleep again and was at my moms friends house but it wasn’t her house Iv never seen this house before she was upstairs talking to my mom cause we were going to dog sit her 2 boxer dogs I fed them and gave them water them we were all leaving asked for her number so I can text with any questions while watching them and asked for the extra key she said we have to stop and make one I said ok so we got on her car I was a huge suv with the drivers side on the right instead of the left and we were going to make the key but she asked if we an stop and get her Aleve for her head I said of course and we did there was a building behind it with fire fighters and they were cleaning the building but then one got mad and broke some tile and didn’t want to get in trouble so he ran off and I woke up

I was driving in my car with my friend Lance and he asked if we can stop at his place and get his stuff I said yes he was driving my car he always drives when we are hanging out he always has so he is driving me car we are on the way to go pick up his stuff we get to a huge bridge which is weird we don’t have big bridges like that where we live in south Florida to get to his house but he also wasn’t at his real life house so we finally pull up to the apartment building and from the outside it looks fine it’s kinda like a hotel/old mental hospital/ apartments I’m not sure kinda hard to explain so we go in as we go to his room our friend Chelsea her daughter zayah just come out of no where she’s a baby like a few months old and Chelsea isn’t even with her so he is slowly packing his stuff and I’m playing with zayah we get close to the window he was like don’t get to close it can fall open as he said that the floor under the window starts to creek we look out the window and all of his neighbors r packing and leaving and soldiers r coming in slowly to make everyone leave cause the building is not safe and is coming apart so I told Lance let me go with zayah pull up the car and u only have a couple more things to pack he said ok I leave the room the floor is creekibg all the elevators are broken the doors r open but you can see the elevator crashed each one was broken i look for the stairs can’t find them we are on the 3rd floor every bedroom door is open and I see woman ghost hovering in dressed they each have a different color dress I ask them to help me find the stairs they said ok but I am now realizing she never showed me just said ok and I went back to lances room and now the stuff that was being packed is out everywhere and he is on the phone with Chelsea and zayah is on his lap I explained I can’t find the exit how to get out of here and we all hugged and I woke up

Dream

I dreamed that I was back in my hometown and I was a teenager. My hometown was different. It was crowded and chaotic. There had been something that happened to the community, a disaster of some sort. It seemed like everyone had some kind of unfinished business and they were looking for the person they needed to talk to. I was helping my friends find their people but I couldn't find mine. Finally I saw Carl at a table with other people. He was wearing a fedora and smiling. But then I noticed that the other people with him were different versions of him. There were two other guys who looked just like him but with slight differences and when they looked at me, none of them seemed like Carl, even the third one who was Carl. (In real life Carl has been in an accident and nearly died. He made it through but with significant memory loss. He doesn't remember the last ten years when we had rekindled a relationship we had when we were young. This really happened.) In the dream, I decide that I need to talk to him but it's getting more and more chaotic. People are trying to leave the school and evacuate the city. My friends are finding their boyfriends and making up and they're telling me that I have to do the same with Carl. I finally find him in the crowd and he tells me that he's blocked me on his phone and social media and I just need to leave him alone. I ask why and he tells me that it's because I don't like his hat. I tell him I do but he's awful and I have to walk away. I tell my friends that he is not the same person and probably never will be. They're sad for me and they tell me that they have good memories of Carl too. A friend's mother who I've known forever said that her aunt told her that she remembered playing Bridge on Carl's front porch. (This is a similar incident that happened in real life when I sang at a friend's wedding and her mom, the same woman came up to me to tell me that her aunt said my voice made her cry.) Finally, I had to go and we all evacuated. That was the end.
