Dream interpretation about Giants, Mushroom, Train, Children, Daughter, House, Head, Side, Tall, City, Looking, Flower, Garden, Ask, Backpack, Playing, Stalk
I dreamt that I saw on a news report video that the street I grew up on had become completely overgrown. Just the street, not the houses or gardens. I could see in the video that the road surface wasn't damaged, it just had dirt built up on it was was covered in thick moss. And from all this, these stunning, giant roses were growing. They grew on single stalks, and the flower of each was the size of a backpack. They were all a muted grey and cream, the had the colour of mushrooms, and looked like they were soft and had spread like funghi, but were beautiful. The children in the neighbourhood were running and playing among them, and the smallest children were disappearing beneath the flower heads, they were that tall. I wanted one petal, just one, and longed for it so badly that I asked my young teenage daughter to catch the train across the other side of the city to bring me back one.

Hello Angie, The overgrown street in your dream, especially with its striking giant roses, seems to symbolize a transformation. The fact that the street alone is overgrown while the surrounding houses and gardens remain untouched could suggest a personal growth or change that is unique to your own path, something that hasn’t affected those around you in the same way. The roses themselves, being the size of backpacks and in muted colors, might represent big opportunities or experiences that are emerging from this period of change—substantial but perhaps not as vibrant or obvious as you might expect them to be. The children playing among the roses could reflect a sense of innocence and joy in discovery, something that is perhaps a little out of reach for you now, as indicated by your longing for a single petal. This longing and the act of sending your daughter to retrieve it may point to a desire to reconnect with your past or to share a piece of it with your daughter, to bring some aspect of that innocence or beauty into your current life. Considering your previous dreams, it's clear you often find yourself in a caretaker role, managing responsibilities and looking out for others. This dream could be expressing a wish to revisit simpler times or to recapture something that was once effortless and full of wonder, a contrast to the complexities you face now. Angie, it seems your subconscious is weaving a narrative of transformation, nostalgia, and the beauty that can emerge from change. It's a reminder of the growth you've undergone and the hidden treasures that may come from it, even if they require some effort to attain.
