pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

I was floating in a river and the water was extremely dark and when I turned to the side I saw two eyes poking up through the water. I realized it was a crocodile. I tried to be extremely still and realized there was another crocodile and when I looked down the river it was filled with thousands of crocodiles. Then somehow i made it out of the water and I was on top of a floor in an industrial type building and I could see the water below and there was also other people who had little areas set up to sleep. A person was trying to escape the crocodiles and all of a sudden a man in a prison type outfit came up behind him and killed this person and fed him to the crocodiles. I ran to another inmate and saw there was a young boy hiding and I told the other inmate that there was someone feeding people to the crocodiles and he told me to follow him. We were sneaking around trying not to let anyone see us. When we almost got to the end I realized the young boy was my son Mason. He picked up the young boy and slammed him back on his head bending his body and killing him. The guy just sat down and shrugged his shoulders and gave a little laugh. I kept screaming why would you do that?!? All of a sudden I was at the top of the building looking down and watching my daughter trying to hid and run from the crocodiles and the man. It kept changing from me watching my daughter to being my daughter and I was climbing up this metal type latter on the side of the wall trying to escape the crocodiles. I don’t remember the in between but I know I died in the end, which means my daughter died to because we were like one person.

Amber, your dream is rich with symbolism and emotions that reflect various aspects of your subconscious. The act of floating in the dark river suggests a feeling of being adrift or overwhelmed by the unknown aspects of life. Water often symbolizes emotions, and the darkness could represent the areas of your emotional life that feel unclear or daunting. The appearance of crocodiles, creatures that are often associated with danger and lurking threats, may symbolize the challenges or fears you are currently facing. These could be related to personal struggles or external pressures that you find intimidating or difficult to confront. As you became aware of the multitude of crocodiles, it suggests a realization of the extent or number of these challenges. The feeling of trying to remain still may indicate a sense of paralysis or uncertainty on how to navigate these difficulties without provoking further issues. Transitioning from the river to an industrial building reflects a shift from the emotional realm to a more structured or controlled environment, perhaps indicating a desire for safety and order amidst chaos. The presence of other people with makeshift sleeping areas might symbolize a community or support network that you perceive as fragile or temporary. The violent act of a person being fed to the crocodiles by an inmate dressed in a prison outfit introduces the theme of betrayal or unexpected threats from within a familiar environment. This could mirror feelings of vulnerability or the fear of being taken advantage of by those you might trust. The dream then takes a deeply personal turn when you recognize the young boy as your son, Mason. This revelation could reflect anxieties around protecting your loved ones, especially in the face of overwhelming threats or hostile environments. The act of witnessing harm to your child may evoke a deep-seated fear of failing to safeguard those you care about.
