This dream was about

I was home and my mom randomly showed up to tell me that my abusive ex R was coming. When I go down the stairs, I see him with a bag and he walks through my dad’s apartment door. My dad comes out and walks towards me. I run outside and my dad tries to tell me to wait but i push him aside and run to the apartment. Before going into the apartment i call the police and start recording on my phone. I go in and R is sitting on the bed. I start yelling “you have to leave, who do you think you are?! How dare you, get out!”. He laughs, stands up and starts walking towards me, saying he lives here and I need to calm down. I yell at him again telling him to leave, this is my dad’s apartment not yours. I call him a bum and tell him to get out. He get really angry when I call him a bum and starts to come at me. He grabs my arm and tries to hold me down, I pull away and hit him. He hits me back and we start fighting, I was punching him and I throwing him wall to wall. I was winning the fight until I tripped and lost my balance. He takes advantage of this and throws me on the ground and gets on top of me, saying that I’m not going anywhere and that I’m his. He starts to undo my pants and puts his hand under my shirt. I grab a pole and hit him with it, push him off of me and run out the door. As I get out the door, the police arrive. I scream for them to help me and R is following me, he sees the police and stops. They see me bloodied, clothes torn and they go after R. They arrest him, put him in the car and take him away. Suddenly im in a house with 2 dogs and a car. I bring the dogs out and when I come back in R is back. He is cooking and says hey babe. I get angry, say I’m not your babe and tell him to get out. He laughs and says he’s not going anywhere and tells me to sit down. I start yelling at him and throwing his stuff outside. I go back to tell him to leave but he’s not in the kitchen anymore. I go through the house yelling for him to get out of my house. I find him in the bathroom, I kick open the door and scream at him to get out. He stands up, gets in my face and says he’s not going anywhere. He pushes past me and goes downstairs, I follow him and continue telling him to stop and get out. He ignores me, grabs my keys and says that he’ll be back and leaves. I run after him to get my keys back but he’s gone. I look at my car and it’s been vandalized, it had a large dent from being hit with a car, the windshield window was smashed and the something was poured into the gas tank. As I’m looking at it, I’m tackled and pinned down by his friend. R shows up and tells the friend to be careful with me because I’m slippery and will get away. The friend laughs and puts a belt around my throat like a leash while I’m thrashing around trying to get him off of me. He pulls the belt choking me and kneels on my stomach, making me stop moving and scream. He rips my shirt open, undoes my pants and pulls them down. He starts to molest me until R comes back. R comes over to me, his friend gets up and hands him the belt. I catch my breath and I’m frozen in fear. R takes the belt and gets on top of me, he says that I’m not getting away again and that I’m his. I don’t say anything and he rapes me. At some point I get a hold of the end of the belt around my neck. I kick R off of me and run away. His friend starts to run after me, he gets close and reaches for my hair but I dodge him and run down a random street. As I’m running, I see 2 police cars and I scream for help, the cars turn on and drive around the corner. I feel hopeless but I keep running. His friend is behind me, I barely get away from him and go down another street. I keep running and I end up back at my house. I don’t see anyone and keep running to it but then I’m knocked over and I’m pinned down again. It was R, he hits me in the face and knees my stomach. I’m so tired that I can’t move or scream anymore. He keeps hitting my stomach and I spit up blood. Then he rape me again, so violently that I feel my insides tear and rip. As he’s doing it I’m crying for him to stop and begging for help. He laughs and covers my mouth with his hand. I begin to pass out but then the police come and shoot him multiple times. He collapses on top of me, I feel him stop breathing and I feel his heart stop beating. I’m sobbing and screaming for help. The cops pull him off and out of me and start attending to me. They help me stand up but when I get on my feet I start gushing blood from my vagina and rectum because of the assault from R. I pass out and wake up in the hospital. I look down and I have an ostomy bag because R tore my colon and intestines. I continue looking at my stomach and I have a big cut because they had to do a hysterectomy and stop the internal bleeding from my abdominal organs being ruptured. I sit up and try to get up but when I get on my feet I fall. A nurse comes in and helps me up. I ask her what happened and she gently lays me down on the bed. She explains that because of the assault I had to have multiple organs removed and got sepsis. She tells me that I’m safe and I have to stay in the hospital until I heal.

Taty, your dream presents a vivid and intense exploration of conflict, trauma, and the struggle for control over your own life. The appearance of your abusive ex, R, signifies not only a confrontation with past trauma but the lingering effects of power dynamics that have previously shaped your experiences. When your mother informs you of his arrival, it suggests a protective instinct from familial ties, yet the urgency in your response—running outside and attempting to call the police—highlights a deep-seated desire to reclaim your autonomy in a situation that feels threatening and out of control. This immediate reaction to assert your space and call for help indicates the strength of your will to resist an oppressive force, even amidst fear. As you confront R directly, your fury and assertiveness in demanding he leave reflect a powerful internal dialogue. The yelling and accusations, such as calling him a 'bum,' symbolize your need to diminish his power and reclaim your narrative. Yet, the shift to physical confrontation, where you initially feel empowered by winning the fight, morphs into a disempowering situation where you trip and lose your balance, mirroring how trauma can resurface unexpectedly and undermine your confidence. This fluctuation of control—feeling strong and then vulnerable—illustrates the complex emotions tied to past abuse, reminding you of how quickly situations can escalate and turn against you. The climax of your dream, where R overpowers you again, is particularly harrowing. His actions represent not just physical domination but an emotional and psychological stranglehold that may still echo in your waking life. The heinous act of him trying to undo your clothes and asserting ownership over you with statements like "you’re mine" signifies a profound violation that transcends physicality—it's about the deep scars abuse leaves on self-identity and agency. The introduction of R's friend further complicates matters, representing perhaps the societal complicity or the additional layers of betrayal you may feel from those who should protect you. As the police arrive, the moment of rescue feels bittersweet. Though they apprehend R, the aftermath—where you find yourself in a hospital bed with severe injuries—underscores the lasting impact of trauma and the long road to healing. The ostomy bag and surgical scars symbolize the physical and psychological wounds that may persist long after the immediate threat has been addressed. This imagery is not merely about physical injury; it represents the deep emotional scars and the transformative journey of healing that you must undergo. The nurse’s presence, offering comfort and safety, reflects a shift from chaos to care, a crucial transition in reclaiming your life. Ultimately, Taty, your dream encapsulates a battle between fear and empowerment, trauma and healing. It presents a narrative that demands acknowledgment of past pain and highlights the resilience needed to confront and overcome it. The intense emotions and vivid scenarios are not only a reflection of your past but serve as a powerful reminder of your strength and the necessity of reclaiming your narrative. This dream is a profound exploration of your psyche, a call to recognize the pains you have endured, and a testament to your journey towards finding peace and a sense of safety in your own life.
