Dream

I keep having this same nightmare and I’m unsure of what it means. The dream takes place in my old home town back in Killeen, Tx, in my old house as well as my old best friends old house. While my house was a one story house with 5 bedrooms she had a 2 story house but her house looked different than what it did back home in reality. There was a young white man, Mark, who was best friends with a beautiful light skinned girl and her neighbor was the girl he has liked since highschool, she was a pretty little white girl. They both had very strict families but the white girl, Katie, was very much in love with him but was never able to see him even when he came over for his best friend, Miranda. There were a few times where he has snuck in to see her but little did he know that house had a stong curse and it caused him to go into a schizophrenic episode causing him to become an agressive mass killer in the night. Once triggered he would see figures in the dark spaces of the house and swore that he would kill Katie’s father so they could live in harmony, but in the midst of a rampage he killed Katie. In desperate need to save her he rushed her to the hospital but she had lost too much blood in result she died in his arms. He then found out that she was being abused at home and returned to finish his job and hill her father who was an abusive alcoholic. After he killed him, he skipped town and went M.I.A for 7 years and the case was eventually droped and went cold with no leading cases. He soon returned and found that his best friend was still in the same house but the other side of the house which Katie had previously stayed at was vacant and no one has lived there or even been inside since the incident seven years ago. Although his mental psychosis had gotten worse, during the day time he was stable. He moved into my old house which had also been vacant around the same time of Katie’s death, so no one would have suspected him being there. He started spending a lot of time with his best friend again but just like before, that house drew out his bad intentions during the night. Miranda’s father did not like the fact that he was always around and he threatened to kill Mark. While mark was gone for the 7years his mother left his red corvette convertible wrapped up in front of the house because she predicted he would return and would need a new way of transportation. Mark did not take lightly to the words Miranda’s father told him and the shadows started to appear and surrounded him so in a hurry he told her she has to leave and walked back to my old house. Later that week there was a terrible storm causeing a massive black out throughout the city and with that he took action and started setting traps within her house. He found Miranda and told her he was in love with her and needed help for he kept seeing visions of Katie but they would turn violent and she would try to kill him but swore she had loved him. Miranda was terrified but was unable to say anything due to Mark covering her mouth. He told her if she loved him to take the pain away and to go wait under the stairs in the attic with muffled headphones so she would not hear the screams if her family being brutally murdered, all though some were spared, they were all shot and her father was shot 27 times and pro undead on the scene. But Mark was unaware that Marianda was also a victim of the curse apon the house, and helped him and escaped with him as well skipping town and becoming one of the biggest and well known serial killers in the country. It was kinda like a Bonnie and Clyde story.

Dream

I’m away at an acting summer camp for adults/professionals. Loretta Divine, Jeffrey Wright and others are in my “class.” We have to wrap up early, clear out the shared house, and get everyone to the train station for their individual departures. My classmates expressed their regret for not getting a picture together, but people left cards behind with their notes for everyone, including acting notes on each other’s work. I was desperate to find mine, especially from Loretta. My cousin Rex came to visit me and brought two cats with him—an adult white female and a juvenile grey female with serious spice issues—they hiss at each other and at least one of them is wobbly. They are kept in a black duffle bag, but when they escape, I find ways to capture them and get them to not hate each other. Eventually, they get along and I’m able to get them back in their travel bag, but my cousin is gone. I can’t find him, so I have to keep the cats with me. There is a demonstration in the little downtown area of our acting camp where people sit at outdoor, iron tables and watch a film set show. I join my parents there and we briefly discuss which movies this set was used for before the demonstration begins. The set is made of tan, stone-like, brick buildings and cobblestone streets. Gargoyles and human statues line the faces of several buildings. Action is called. Slowly, the stone figures morph into human extras and stunt people and everyone is in awe of the transformation. I remark that this would frighten me otherwise, but it’s good to see the movie magic in action. Eventually, I get back to packing up the shared actors’ house. There are only two or three of us left to clean and we fill multiple dumpsters with foodstuffs. We think most of it should go to charity and not be wasted, but we have no means to transport everything. There is also some kind of time restraint—everyone needs to leave as soon as possible. I felt disappointed to not be able to enjoy the rest of camp, but I was happy to be there. I felt like I belonged.
