Dream
I was on vacation at a sort of outdoor lake all inclusive resort type place, but I had the sense that it belonged to my dad or that he had organized renting the area/sleeping space/house portion, but mostly everything was on the middle of the water, just floating and connected by different structures and ropes and open water. I got the sense that many or all the people I love were there with me, all of us on this grand vacation and enjoying what it had to offer. There was a portion with an outdoor cafeteria or farmers market type place where everything was free, with all types of food, drinks, and desserts. I looked at all the beautiful options and made notes for what to eat tomorrow or bring back for the group to enjoy for a snack. I got excited and told this to my friend Allison who agreed with my choices but said people may not actually eat it even if I brought it back to them. I made a note but was hopeful anyway, and thought I’d try it later. While we were there, my other friend Ashley and her husband kept sneaking off during dinner or while the rest of the group was drinking, hanging out, and just having fun. She was breaking one of the unspoken rules and having sex with her husband sneaking away in the jacuzzi area when I accidentally walked in on them. I turned away and made to leave but she laughed and wasn’t bothered, asking me, do you think anyone will be upset? I told her I didn’t personally care as the jacuzzi area was extremely large and open, but others might. She seemed to listen to that and think, but later on I found them sneaking away again and just shook my head, giggling, and looked the other direction. Although Ashley had a baby this year, he wasn’t with them, but it seemed to make sense to me that the baby had been left at home for Ashley and her husband to get some time away. Other than that interaction in the house, I mostly remember episodic adventures swimming in the lake, riding on the boat, playing in the water, and hanging out with various family members such as my aunt Nancy, brother Ryan, and Dad, although many others were also there in the background.
