Dream Of Holiday Meal And Family

I dreamt I was at my friends house with her family preparing for a holiday meal. I’m not sure what holiday it was. I was supposed to make a chicken and before dish but I was also helping cutting up food for her mom. She had me cutting up coconut. I took a break to stop by and see my dad. Who in real life is still alive. I ask him what he’s doing for the holiday, which was the next day. He said he was cooking out today because he wasn’t going to be home the next day. He invited a man over for dinner whom he said was his spiritual advisors! I was excited to talk with the gentleman and get some knowledge from him! But I end up in my parents bedroom sleep in their bed with no bed spread just a fitted sheet. I get up and begin cleaning the room with a toothbrush. There were a bunch of plants I discovered by their window I didn’t know my mother had planted. I went to one of the plants and begin talking to it as of I knew it was mommy. I hugged it and cried and told it how much I missed her. I felt it embrace me back. I then hear my dad downstairs with our dog. I come downstairs and he’s holding the dog like a baby. I tell him the dog probably needs to go outside so he let him down. He didn’t want to go outside he wanted to eat. I took him back to the front room to feed him and see my daughter has brought him a much needed new dog cage. I then tell my daddy I have to go back to work. He asked if I could take something to drop off at Office Depot so it can be delivered somewhere. I told him ok. I end up in Goldsboro, my fathers hometown, trying to go to my grandparents house. I was riding a bike and put directions in to get to Office Depot in Goldsboro. When I arrive I forgot what I went there for. But I knew I needed to hurry up because I had a 3.5 hr ride back home and I still had to work. I stopped at a cafe and was talking to my sister on the phone. This white woman had a jewelry stand in front of me and was standing there with her baby in the stroller, She said to her baby, “she smells like weed”. I told my sister on the phone what the woman said and laughed and told my sister I don't even smoke weed i eat, it but you can’t smell edibles. Later these three guys come up to me. I had some edibles in my purse and one guy wanted some I gave him a piece them a man with a black mask on passed out some chocolate pieces to all of us but didn’t tell us what it was. I realized I needed to leave because I was going to be really late for work. I hurried out and this young boy in front of me looked at me and said slow down. I tried to move slower but was in a panic. As I was walking to my truck a couple behind me was conversating about being old and 50. I walk to my truck and am driving and this woman is walking beside me on a loud speaker teasing me. I’m trying to drive fast but she odd still keeping up. There is a boat on the back of my truck. I then end up on the bike again. I put my grandparents address in my gps on my phone but end up getting lost and driving to the court house. The court house has the same number as my grandparents street number but a different name. I then woke up.
