Dream About Immigration Riots Pregnancy And Dogs

One part of my dream I was flashed back to when I was really young and my family recently immigrated to the States and moved to Boston. In the dream I was a baby and there was racial riot happening in Fields Corner neighborhood. With my parents driving and making sure we don’t get harmed. Somehow during this riot this young Asian boy and his parents hopped in the vehicle we were in. Then in the dream it flashed back to my adult self and I’m reconnecting with this East Asian guy again as adults. And we bonded by both living through that moment in Boston’s history. (FYI in our waking world this riot and experience never happened.). Later on the dream I’m on the bus in Boston and I need to get off to get back home. I get off and it’s night time and there’s guys around. I go into this incense store that will be closing soon. Asian owned and the lady welcome me in to purchase her items which is primarily incense. It seems like a metaphysical store. I do need sage and other items like that because in my waking life I’m low. So I told her I’m gonna call my uber and then purchase a few things. She agrees and also understands without me saying that I don’t feel safe being outside in this neighborhood at night as there men out there and idk their intentions. In another part of the dream I’m dog sitting my friend’s dog. The dog is generally cool but later on it starts to try to bite me when he doesn’t feel like doing something it’s time to do like going his crate for bed. I start to hold the dog on his two upper paws so he can’t reach me to bite me I decide to put him in an oven to go to sleep. The oven is hot but somehow I know it won’t kill him. I’m dog sitting at my sister’s Jenny place which is unfamiliar to where she actually lives in her waking life I get her help to open the oven door while I swing the dog in. When she does and I put him in he quickly runs out and is in smoke. I tried it twice unsuccessfully I do eventually get him to his crate. In my sister’s Jenny unfamiliar home my other sister Melory and her boyfriend is there. Later on in the dream I find out my sister Melory is pregnant. I’m happy for her especially since she’s 45 years old. Also in the waking world that is impossible cause she has a hysterectomy. Anywho her and her boyfriend is happy but she also seems concerned as she is concerned of her boyfriend’s mis management of finances (which is true in our waking world). Also at some point I’m in an apartment similar to Carrie’s in the show Sex and The City. Carrie is actually there she’s like my best friend but she transforms back and forth to a Black woman similar to my sister Jenny (which irl is not my best friend just sisters) she’s pregnant due in the fall. I’m looking her sonogram photos. Also my aunt was able to get her connected to this modeling gig the next day. We call my aunt who received a confirmation call of the modeling gig but my aunt didn’t get all the information and we don’t think the agency is still open as it’s late. So we decided we will go tomorrow anyways and try to get the info. Somehow I seem to identify with this Carrie who is pregnant as if it’s me even though in the dream she isn’t and this worry if this is her last chance to get what she wants to do professionally and personally before she starts showing. There also some looming fear of miscarriage because of my age of being 35. I also sense the pregnancy experience my sister have it’s about me but I don’t identify with the mismanagement of my husband’s finances that’s actually my sister Melory real concern in her relationship and taking the next step of marriage. But I sense the Carrie and Melory pregnancy is about me and my own desire of expanding my family but also concerns of what I want to ensure to achieve before I start to have children but also this looming fear of age and miscarriage etc. Kenal and I do plan to begin trying after our larger wedding celebration next May but also wanting to fully experience my husband now and not trying to prevent a pregnancy if it happens now. 🙃
