Dream About High Rise Apartment Friends

My dream started with me bringing my friend up to my high-rise apartment. The apartment was on the side of a mountain that was mostly rock. Because of this, the way up to the apartment was a series of strange staircases that weaved in and out of caves. The apartment was in a really bad city that seemed like a cross between New York and Las Vegas, but with extremely high crime. it was nighttime, and when we got up to the apartment, some of my other friends were just hanging out. The walls on the inside of the apartment were carved in rock and the rooms were little caves. We were on a very high floor, somewhere around the 15th story. The inside of the apartment complex was beautiful, with a pool and grass area. It was luxury on the inside, but on the outside of the apartment complex was the city. I went out onto my balcony that had a glass railing, and my best friend Tam was standing on the outside of the ledge. She wasn’t upset or mad, but she didn’t say anything and just jumped. I screamed and yelled for her, then waited to hear if she landed in the pool. I heard a large splash and immediately started running out of the apartment and down all of the strange staircases to get to the pool. When I got down to the pool, I couldn’t find Tam anywhere. The friend that was going to stay with me came down to the pool area and we headed to a store that seemed like a Target. My friend was looking for the manager to talk to him about childcare for her daughter. While she was talking to the man my daughter walked up to me with a doll. The doll was still in the package but wrapped really tightly in clear packing tape. My daughter asked if she could have the doll because it was on clearance. I said yes. My friend, and I made our way back to the apartment through the city on public transportation. It was really late, and really scary. All of a sudden it was the next morning and I woke up in my apartment. I went into my kitchen and it was a mess. There was food everywhere, some of it on the floor. My ex husband Reed was there. He came in drunk after I fell asleep and made the mess. I told him he wasn’t welcome to come over anymore. I got ready and was heading to the grocery store with my boyfriend Paul. As we were pulling in the parking lot, we had to stop because there were people in the middle of the street. There were three people in front of the car. One of them was my high school boyfriend Keith, the other two were his wife, Teri and his girlfriend Laura. The two women were about to fight. Teri pushed Laura, then Laura pulled out a plastic gun and started shooting at Teri. The plastic gun shot razor blades. I was driving and my driver side window was down. One of the razor blades hit my side mirror and some glass got in my eye. I pulled into a parking spot and the dream ended.
