I am back at that same San Fran/Broadway hybrid location
Something about Marylin Monroe aka Norma Jean
Red curtains, marble tiled hotel room, luxurious
Pearls, fur stoles/coats, secreet dealings with a gentleman, I think I’m let in on one of the sets of a movie that she was in; the “Seven Years Itch”?
Crossing a hotel corridor(luxurious, but think the one where the twins appeared in the Shining) and the lobby
Now I’m getting on a man-sized rollerslide/course in a middle of some opening in a woods, like a camp site and their large playgrounds
Chatting with Aya, one of the friend I had in middle school(we bonded(sort of) over the shared history in bullying) while we get carried on the hip board thingy on the “monorail” and get to the destination
The landing point being a hotel garden(it looks a bit like the one I slept at in Kobe; Grand Hotel Otani?)
It looks like it’s being built on a hill, slightly looks like it’s modified iut of a golf course(probably because of the partial lawns)
The rail spiraling downward, using parachutes to land and also measure how far we’ve flew(they measure it, for fun; but also the longest flying gets something or whatever, a medal or a snack)
Aya and I just decide to fool around and also hack the game by never really ‘landing(touching feet)’ on the ground; we spiral down on the parachute from early on compared to the other sliders and float to the momiji tree in the center of the spiral, me hang onto the trunk and Aya resting atop a boulder hugged by the roots
Straddling onto the tree trunk I do a little imitation of pole dancing and do a lifted figurehead move(legs lifted, hugging the tree backwards while the body come front to the viewer)
We giggle and such about our tomfoolery, sure that the judges judging our ‘touchdown’ would be baffled or amazed at our trickiness
And then once the lady announces to the remaining railsliders to come on in because there’s soup waiting, we go ahead and glide back on the parachute
