pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

i was asleep in the nola hotel felt the person laying next to me, they were still asleep heard someone come into the room couldnt move or talk saw the light from the door opening some white woman comes from the doorway still cant move, but i’m “awake” in the dream my mind is screaming at the lady, asking what shes doing, wants and telling her to leave she does say something, but i cant remember, it was a few words she starts walking towards me & im trying to move but feel stuck she says more words, i still havent said anything but a voice thats not mine starts saying “get up, i need you to get up” the creepy white lady is also in my head saying there’s nowhere to go now all 3 voices (mine, whoever’s telling me to get up, and the white woman) start getting louder and mixing together shouting different things, but i still havent spoken out loud then the ‘helpful voice’ says “all you have to do is turn your head and open your eyes!” at the same time, the lady tried to grab my ankle to pull me i wake up before she touches me, by turning my head and forcing my eyes open while i was waking up i said “please, no” out loud but before i was consciously awake

Hello there! Your dream resonates with a common experience known as sleep paralysis, where the dreamer feels awake but is unable to move or speak. The presence of an unknown person can symbolize an intrusion into your personal space or life, and the inability to move or speak may reflect feelings of helplessness or lack of control in a situation. The 'helpful voice' encouraging you to wake up suggests an inner strength or support system that you can rely on when facing fears or challenging circumstances. The mix of voices getting louder could represent conflicting internal emotions or messages you're receiving in your waking life. It's important to pay attention to these as they may be guiding you to confront and overcome personal fears or anxieties. The dream's resolution, where you're able to wake yourself up, indicates a powerful ability to pull through difficult situations by finding your own solutions and strengths.
