Dream About Terrifying Knock On Hotel Door

I was in a hotel, getting ready for bed when I heard a knock on my door. There was a male voice that called to me, saying that it was my boyfriend and that he brought something. He didn't enter the room. The figure was just standing outside, probably watching me. This happened again and I was starting to get nervous. Then a third time. By the fourth time, I was scared out of my mind. The guy was still outside my door. He didn't say anything. I had turned my back to the door and was leaning against it to calm my nerves. Then the door slammed open and I was killed by the man.
