Dream About Death And Loss Of Pet

My old cat Marie (that died a few years ago) was in my dream and had a bad leg. I took her to the vet and she was there for a few days to get better. I went to go and visit her and the vet said she wasn’t doing too great but took me to see her. They asked me if I wanted the meat on or off and without thinking I said “meat off” and they brought her out and had removed all her bones and she was dead, with no bones on a platter. I was very confused and said “no put her bones back” and they gentely told me that they couldn’t undo it and she was dead now. In that moment I realised the permanence of death and once dead, they can’t come back. I was very upset and woke up sad.
