I had a dream that my mother and I were at my great-grandmother's house. The house was really cluttered growing up, but my brother recently remodeled the house and cleaned it out. And so the house was in good condition in my dream. You My mom was better than normal. She was really high-functioning and lively and she was better than she was when she was alive and our relationship felt closer than it did when she was alive. She had baked a light blue heart shaped cake and she was tasting the cake but wouldn't let me taste the cake because she was working on the recipe and she stated something to the effect of this cake was designed for me. You would be eating it at your own risk. So as she is tasting the cake she is also writing down adjustments to the ingredients based on how the cake tastes. And then at some point it became day again and we got in the car to go to the store to get more ingredients. We were in my new car and we joked about it being a hybrid. Also she actually told a couple jokes during this dream. My mom was actually the one driving, and as she was waiting for me, she made a phone call. The phone call was to someone in Korea, and it indicated that she had only been away working. She was so high-functioning and she seemed so happy and I could just feel like good energy from her. I could feel closeness with her. It felt like a new relationship with her, not the relationship we had in the past. And my mom loved curly wigs and she had a big beautiful curly wig on. She was so pretty. There was a point where another car pulled into the driveway and I was curious about the car and a little fearful. I didn't blatantly hide, but I remember trying to scurry and get out of the house, but I never saw anyone get out of the car. And at some point, the car just no longer existed. Also, I remember when my mom was getting in my car to drive, I remember having a brief thought about, oh she must have got her sight back, which means I acknowledged her illness, but also saw that she was so much better.
