I was on a roller coaster. It was sunny, no clouds in the sky. Suddenly, just as the car starts rolling down this tall, steep hill, I'm flung out of the roller coaster. I go up, up, up... Until I land in, of all places, my elementary school: a place I hated. Everything was skewed out of proportion, and I had the sensation that the floor was very low, and my legs were long and noodly. I started running. I have no idea why, but I had the feeling I needed to run. Maybe it was instinct, because, again, that elementary school was the worst four years of my life. Then, I ran through a dark doorway, for whatever reason. It changed to a college classroom. My tenth grade chemistry teacher was there. He smiled at me. I liked him. He wasy first gay teacher, and helped me come out as gay and rediscover my love of science. The dream started out bad, but became good by the end.
