Dream

I have a recurring dream that I am frantic Because somehow I've found out that something has happened to my partner Aaron. I am crying uncontrollably the majority of the dream. The way he passes in the dream is either a car accident or being shot but that detail varies. I always go to his mom's in the dream and tell her about it and every time she acts so non chalantv like why am I so hysterical that the love of my life died. In the dream I'm very devastated. I get this dream 1-2 times a year and when I wake up it's usually because I wake myself up crying in real life. I end up needing to take a nap because of how physically and mentally tired I am.

Dream

A very very long and intense dream I was with my mom and we were walking in nature. We walk down along path and along side of stream, and there was this building in the distance I knew it used to be a certain corporation, but that it had closed, leaving this big building in the middle of nowhere , we walked up to the building and it was pretty rundown but lots of people were exploring inside so we decided to go in. once we went in the building seemed even huger on the inside, and we spent lots of time exploring it. I had been in the building before as a corporation, so recognized some parts of it. There was a huge bank fault type area that was covered in copper, and was very beautiful, there was part of it that looked like a furniture store with all kinds of beds and different furniture and there were some people sleeping in some of the beds and it was really interesting. There were also parts where there were lots of what used to be booths, selling crafts and jewelry and all kinds of things and some of the stuff was still there so we were looking through and took a few things that seemed really great like some decorative items and some jewelry. The place just kept going and going and going with all kinds of different rooms. Some were really fun and others were kind of creepy and scary and you wanted to get out of there right away. There were lots of people in there some kind of like tourists like us others without homes who were living in the building and some people who seemed really scary and threatening to the other people there was an area where there were kids arts and crafts, and I recognize some of them and I went running in there to see if any of the crafts were done by kids I knew from my days working as a cultural coordinator at some point, my mom and I got separated, and I spent a large part of the dream looking for her and calling for her at some point in the dream I was so lost in the maze of all these rooms that I couldn’t figure out how to get out and what I would find an opening to the outside. It would be impossible like blocked by a bunch of stuff or have trees and debris and mud and I couldn’t go out that way. I was starting to get panicky and scared and started following one wall around around around through this maze of buildings trying to find the way out. I was also calling from my mom, a different times I did see from time to time people I knew in there like people from the old days, when I lived in that town, I don’t really know exactly where it ended

Dream

I traveled down to Kentucky with my kids to see friends since we used to live there years ago. While down there we ran into their dad, who we haven’t seen in 7 years, he seemed the same and asked if we wanted to hangout with him. Suddenly, we’re all in the car together driving, the crazy thing is we weren’t driving on pavement, but in water in a car boat. The entire town was in water with buildings, like Venice. We decided to go to the mall and get Indian food, that’s when I saw a few of my friends, but the friends I saw aren’t from Kentucky, they’re from St. Louis. Then my ex, our kids, and I after eating decided to go to into this store, it had a bunch of things in it, but when the owner saw Tanner (my ex) the owner stopped him and told him (Tanner) he owned the owner $150. If Tanner didn’t pay him he would take him to jail. Tanner didn’t have $150 on hand, so I ended up paying the owner. We then left the mall in the car boat.

Dream

The dream started as a family event in a huge space, we were all dressed up (like a prom) then more people that I wasn’t related to starting coming in. Some of the random people I knew and others I didn’t. We all gathered in the foyer, till that got over flowed and then the building opened up more space. Everyone was so happy, kids running around playing, adults talking and laughing. I’m not sure why we were there, but I was happy to be there. Then the dream switched, I was in the same building with just my kids and my best friend. It was day time and we were sitting in the foyer watching tv and letting my kids play outside. It was stark difference from the building full just a moment before. I’m not sure if I spent a day in the building or what?

Me and my friend are at an interview and this interview theme is shapes and colors so the backgrounds of the place are filled with different shaped balloons and there's a big TV I'm watching this TV with my friend while we're waiting for us to be interviewed we are cuddling when my cousin Vicky and my niece Selena they're in small tight dresses show up Vicky tries bully my friend and I say at least I'm not pregnant at 16 Selena talks to Brayden Vicky and Selena are like is this him Brandon says no he says they're the witness Selena and Brayden are talking when the dream ends

Dream

I was held hostage by my husband and mother-in-law at my old childhood home. They were scheming my fate. When I walked out of a room, there was writing all over the floor, and objects that I didn't recognize. By the door, my mother-in-law had laid out letters and gifts that my grandmother had mailed to our house, but I never seen them. I decided to escape, I ran out of the house and onto the street, seeing more strangers. I called my husband, begging for help. He only said "Mom, she's running away." I ran into the yard where trees and bushes were to hide in. I tried going into one, but a red dot sniper had come out of one of them and threatened to kill me. I stopped, and put my hands up.

I was at my old school that my bestie goes to. I got to see him again, and I was so happy. I love him a lot and I even love him more then a friend way. I was so happy to see him and then I remembered that I'm in a relationship with someone else that I love a lot. My bestie Quan asked about my feelings for him especially because I'm in a relationship. I told him that I love them both and I didn't want to let either of them go. Then somehow my boyfriend Latique came into the dream. I told him about my feeling for him and my bestie.

Dream

I walked outside with the air full of excitement, it was the fourth of July, independence day, or maybe it was Christmas? It just felt good. I sat at a table full of familiar faces from foreign lands. And my dad was there. The fireworks started going off in the air. There were so many and so bright and so loud. I asked the table "is this your first time experiencing American celebrations ? " Laughing a little as I said it. They all nodded yes. I made the sentiment "for some reason, we have fireworks for everything" Just then, it seemed the fireworks got louder and more harsh. I looked up and saw a firework bright red in the shape of an American flag but the yellow fireworks behind it made it look like it was exploding. Something from the sky flew right onto our table. It had some sparks coming out the side. One of the foreign girls started to reach for it. My dad screamed "DONT TOUCH IT, IT WILL EXPLODE" but the girl continued to reach for it. When she touched it, nothing happened. It looked like a large electronic ravioli, but I don't remember what it was filled with. As she squished the middle my dad realized it was harmless but a part of me still felt uncomfortable with her messing with it. I just wanted to throw it away.

Dream

Last night I dreamed that I was somewhere at campus, spending time with Kyle, when I got a phone call. I answered the phone and i believe that it was mom, wanting to know how I am doing, and where I am since she is likely still in Africa. While I was talking to her, I distractedly received a text from Jack who replied to my message I sent two days ago. After that long pleasant yet embarrassing phone conversation with mom once again reminding me not to focus too much on spending time with friends as they wouldn’t really care if I am around, I started remembering a previous dream I had about the Fall 2023 semester ending. Noticing I was in a deep thought mode, Kyle said something to cheer me up, which unsurprisingly made me feel a bit better, but I still wasn’t fully fine. I decided to walk around a bit, and while I was putting on my music, I heard a familiar voice coming from the SSV 2nd floor hallway and it was Jack. Seeing Jack made me a little giddy especially when he noticed me walking and greeted me with his confident sweet smile I always admire. We chatted for what feels like an hour or two, but it was really nice. I told him about my day, including a phone call from my mom, and similar to Kyle, Jack said something to cheer me up, except, Jack encouraged me to “keep doing my best with a good attitude”. The way he said it made me not just smile wide, but also had my heart racing with assurance. After that comfort moment, we just joked around and shared a smiley stare then and there. After chatting with Jack, I realized that today was Agape so I went to look for Kyle. Once I found him with our mutual friend entering the building, I gotten a call from Mom, asking me if I am home since she is now in the U.S, so I told Kyle if it is possible that he drives me home at six. Just as the club was close to being finished, mom called me again, asking me where I am so I told her I am at a church club in campus. Once I told her, I knew I had to take the call in the hallway, since I didn’t want anybody, especially Kyle to listen. After getting yelled at for “focusing on friends” and all that in speaker, I heard one of Kyle’s friends asking me if I am okay. As we all walked to the parking lot, I got in Kyle’s car, noticing his eyes were filled with concern. When he asked, “are you good?”, I began to tear up but I nodded ‘yes’. While he was starting the car to head off to the highway, and music was playing, he noticed I was being too quiet. No longer standing the silence, he asked what was wrong so I briefly told him about my phone call. He then lowered the radio, and said everything that was saying much more than “it is going to be okay”, and hearing him speak made me feel better. I thanked him, and he nonchalantly said, “If you’re good, I’m good”, making me smile.

Dream

I was out with my family going to a party at the park where all of sudden there was a lot of altercations going on. A group of people held us down and used us to shield them, putting our life at risk and yelling at us. From there I woke up in my dream at a house party with the same people that held us hostage. I was trying to confort myself in talking to people. Seeing a man coming my way and he was scary and had a gun on him, he was with me at all times and tried to talk a bit. But he was aggressive, I was then on the phone with my boyfriend but I don’t remember what we were talking about. The scary man overheard and walked away. From that point I was talking to the ladies who seemed sweet to feel better after going through that intense moment. The scary man came back again and was forcing me to go with him. Dragging me to the room where he want to have sex. I told him no, I haven’t even had sex with my boyfriend that I can’t do this. And putting back on my hoodies to prevent him getting me naked. The door was wide open, and I saw my sister come out of the bathroom. I yelled and screamed for help till she noticed and ran away. I yelled for help but nobody did anything till my boyfriend appeared running to me. I remembered the man had a gun and tried to stop my boyfriend from getting killed. Willing to risk it for a traumatic moment in order to prevent my boyfriend from getting hurt. I don’t remember what happened there. Next thing that happened was boyfriend was asking me to marry him with a gorgeous big heart chocolate cake till the scary man knocked his cake and wanted to fight him. I was scared because the man had a gun. In the end, my boyfriend proposed again and i cried with the overwhelming feeling that happened in my dream. I said yes, and my heart was too heavy with the scary stuff

Dream

I was in a department store with my sisters. As I was looking in one section, trying to help a friend I noticed my sister's were no where to be found. When I look across the store I see one of them in a beautiful wedding dress, so flowy. I was confused, cause aren't I the one that's getting married? But then I thought it might be a surprise. When I started to walk toward here, my other sister stopped me and had on a beautiful whit wedding dress with red accents. I said, "where are y'all getting these wedding dresses from?" She said "at the front, aren't they beautiful?" I didn't mention the part about me getting married because I didn't want to make it about me. I ran into some obstacles on my way to the front of the store where the dresses were. When I finally got there, all the dresses were gone. My sister's looked at me with sadness and pity and said " I'm so sorry Jacq" but in my disappointment I was trying to stay positive.
