Dream
In my dream, I was in the backyard of the house I lived in from 4th grade until 8th grade. When I was in the yard, I spotted an orange cat against the corner of the wooden fence. I tried to call for it, while I was crouching, but every time I called for it, the cat would look startled and stare at me. I attempted to approach the cat but it would run away each time. Over the span of days (in my dream of course), the cat would slowly trust me by not running away when I walked towards it. The last thing I remember from this dream was me calling the cat, and the cat finally ran up to me and started rubbing its head against my hand, purring.
