I Dreamed Of A Buddhist Monk With A Rattlesnake Bell
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

It was a dream in which I was in a place near some water. My child and others were there. A Buddhist monk showed up with a bell that housed a rattle snake. I was told the bell controlled the snakes. Then at one point the monk squared off with me so I in turn squared off with him and raised my palms towards him as a gesture to say that I am prepared however don’t want to participate in combat. The monk raised his palms towards me and I could see blue energy begin to emit from his body that began to transfer to mine. It seemed almost electric. He transferred his energy to me rang the bell then left. That’s when I woke.

Dustan, your dream is a complex and intriguing one, filled with symbolism and potential meanings. The presence of water in your dream often represents emotions and the unconscious mind. It seems to indicate that this dream holds deep emotional significance for you. The appearance of your child and others may reflect your sense of responsibility and connection to those around you, perhaps suggesting a desire for protection and guidance. The arrival of the Buddhist monk with a bell housing a rattlesnake is highly symbolic. The snake, often a symbol of transformation and hidden knowledge, may represent aspects of yourself that are yet to be discovered or acknowledged. The monk's claim that the bell controlled the snakes may reflect a sense of power and control over these mysterious and potentially dangerous aspects of your psyche. The ensuing encounter between you and the monk, where you both raised your palms, seems to symbolize a moment of confrontation and potential conflict, but your gesture of non-violence and readiness suggests a desire for peaceful resolution and understanding. The exchange of blue energy from the monk to you is particularly significant. Blue is often associated with communication, truth, and spiritual awakening. This transfer of energy could signify a profound exchange of wisdom, insight, or healing. The monk's departure after ringing the bell may represent a completion of this powerful exchange, leaving you with a sense of awakening or transformation.
