Dream Of Flying And Hair Extensions

pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

I was with my mom and I accidentally pulled out one of the rubber bands on my braids that I put hair extensions on. All of the hair extensions were about to fall out! I was panicking because I really don’t want that to happen, and some of them already did. Then my mom came up with the idea to put hair gel on my hair so that it would stay. We did that, and I was relieved. But then I got mad at her because she made it look bad. I calmed down when I fixed it. So then I went to some place and there was a crazy, short girl cleaning it. Then there were a bunch of adults and a bunch of kids. The kids were missing and I went with the adults to the store. I noticed some cereal but I didn’t know what it was and noticed that it was opened so I tasted one. The outside was salty and the inside was sweet. I loved it so I put it in the shopping cart. I noticed more foods and tried them before putting them in my cart. Then I bought them and went back to that place and this time it was the adults who weren’t there. I and kids started flying. We flew up to a mountain and they asked me where the adults were. Then I noticed we weren’t on the mountain anymore, we were on clouds.

In your dream, the moment you accidentally pull out one of the rubber bands from your braids symbolizes a fear of losing control or stability in your life, particularly in connection with your identity and how you present yourself to the world. Hair often represents personal power and self-image, and the impending loss of your hair extensions may reflect anxiety over how you perceive yourself or how others perceive you. This feeling of panic that arises from the potential fallout suggests that you might be grappling with pressures—perhaps societal expectations or personal standards—that make you feel vulnerable about expressing your true self. When your mom suggests using hair gel to keep everything in place, it highlights the instinctive response to seek support and solutions from those we trust. However, your subsequent frustration with her efforts indicates a struggle between accepting help and wanting to maintain autonomy over your own decisions. This duality suggests that while you seek guidance, you also desire to carve out your own path, which can lead to conflict. The relief you feel after fixing your hair signifies a reclaiming of control, emphasizing your capability to resolve issues independently, which is a valuable trait. The shift from being with your mom to encountering a chaotic environment with a 'crazy, short girl' cleaning introduces an element of unpredictability in your life, reflecting perhaps a transition from childhood to a more complex social setting filled with adults and kids alike.
