Dream About Traveling And Layovers

have a dream where I am traveling and I'm on the way back. And I have a load layover somewhere, where I arrive one day and I leave the next day. And my friend Marietta lives there, so I'm going to see her. And as I arrive, I want to check in into my hotel. I get a rental car and I go to the hotel. But it turns out it's not really the hotel. It's more like an arrival place, where they can't give me the information I need. They say, come back in the evening and then we tell you everything. So I go to Marietta's house. It's a nice house. There are several people, guests. We eat. We have conversations. I talk to people. We talk a lot about eating meat. They are vegetarians. And then it's getting late. It's dinner. People start to leave and I'm getting all so anxious to leave. I'm tired and I realize I don't even know where I need to be. And then my flight leaves, so I really want to go now. So I grab Lily. We walk outside. Lily has got my gift. I tell her to say thank you to Marietta's husband. Marietta is inside and I don't even say bye to her. We leave and for some reason we walk. It's dark. It's going a bit uphill. And at first I think we walk to the car and then I realize we walk towards the place I was in the morning. And it's a little bit further so I tell Lily to wait. I leave her somewhere in a cafe or something because I don't want her to get too tired. And I keep walking alone. So I get to the place where I just want to find out where do I need to return the car. Where will we sleep and when are we leaving tomorrow? And I'm in that waiting hall and it's not my turn. There are so many people. It's full with people. They have all those complicated questions and it's very slow. As I'm waiting I keep thinking about what if we leave really, really early? What if it doesn't even make sense to sleep? What if we have to stay awake? Maybe we shouldn't unpack. Where's my luggage? Maybe we should sleep in our clothes. And I'm going through those scenarios endlessly. It's getting later and later and later. I regret that I left Lily there. And I'm worried. How will I get her? That said, we go from here. The hotel is here. Then I have to go back and get her first and it's going to be even later. And someone finishes in front of me and I want to step to the counter. And then someone from my left says, but first it's my turn. And I see there's a woman and then there's another woman. And I see so many more people who are waiting. First step aside and I'm really frustrated. Now I sit down on the ground and I keep running scenarios through my head.
