Dream About Snakes In Bed And Trial At Work

pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

A snake popped its head out of the quilt on a bed (mine) in an old office I'm trying to use. I was surprised and disturbed when a second snake popped out. I decided there weren't anymore snakes in the quilt, but I didn't check instead I went to school/work. I swore at someone at work and was immediately put in “trial” the judge/teacher was against me and I didn't understand the rules. Everyone was younger than me and wouldn't listen or consider forgiving. I gave up and decided to leave and I didn't warn them about the snakes. I think I saw people using it as I left.

Colleen, your dream can be quite telling. Dreaming of snakes, especially popping out unexpectedly, often symbolizes hidden fears or concerns that you might not be fully acknowledging in your waking life. The old office setting suggests these fears or unresolved issues are tied to past experiences or environments that you are trying to repurpose or make sense of now. The surprise and disturbance you felt with the second snake indicate that these issues might be more pervasive than you initially thought. Deciding not to check for more snakes and instead going to school/work hints at a tendency to avoid confronting these hidden fears directly, perhaps due to a busy life or the stress of multiple responsibilities. The swearing incident at work and the subsequent trial represent feelings of being unfairly judged or misunderstood by your peers, especially those who are younger or have different perspectives. The judge/teacher being against you and not understanding the rules reflects a sense of confusion or lack of control over the expectations placed upon you. This can be particularly relevant given your recent major life changes and ongoing mental health challenges. The fact that no one would listen or consider forgiveness might highlight feelings of isolation or lack of support in your current environment. Lastly, deciding to leave without warning others about the snakes can be interpreted as a form of self-preservation, choosing to remove yourself from a toxic or unsupportive situation rather than trying to fix it.
