Dream About Friendship And Abuse
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

It starts off that I'm at some school. There's a boy that reminds me of a friend and a girl. They are always together and have been since childhood. It's like a movie where you can see them doing something but only their arms and hands. Everything they do has a tendency to get them into trouble. Most of the time you can see the girl's hands doing whatever the problem is. But the boy is the one that gets in trouble for it. The boy gets abused all the time. The boy ends up getting killed because of it and the town starts to abuse me because I'm his friend. It ends with a fight with an old gentleman in a wheelchair in a warehouse. I had been followed and chased by his laddies and eventually was cornered. He won the fight. Second dream starts the same. When I get to the town, I'm more present in the town, I guess more noticeable, and I start to find out how they feel. They start to find out about my friend and I start being judged. There is a moment I go into a house and I find a room to cry. Two girls are there. One is older, one is younger, and they're in a bed with a floral blanket. The mother goes in to get the girls and then yells at me. I ask her what I did and she shows me that I somehow rubbed the lower leg of the younger child with my feet, but the older girl follows her out and I know the older child did it to the younger girl, not me. The older girl shakes her head as if to say, shame on you. I leave and find myself in the warehouse again. I go to a corner on the left of the house and there is a balloon stand. I start to write a card for the balloon, but hear the employee complain that he isn't doing any more balloons because the silver balloons were out. I still grab a card and try to wait for the guy to come back or change his mind. A few little girls came and start filling out cards and grab balloons that tell them they aren't accepting orders, hoping that they leave. The lady at the counter repeats it and they start to leave. The girls were black. I start getting chased by the men again, this time when I got cornered. The older man is in a wheelchair but can walk a distance. I make him walk and then I fight and win. Something happens with or to a young black kid. I get chased and it looks like they want to kill me or hurt me because of my connection to him. I go back to the balloons and there are three black employees that make me feel comfortable. I yell when a man comes around the corner and they yell at him to go away. He runs away and I start to cry. I beg the employees at the counter to allow me to still send a balloon and they finally said yes and when asked what to say on the card, when the employees ask me what to say on the card, I start sobbing and say, please say happy birthday. And then I actually wake up.

Angela, your dream unfolds in a school setting where you encounter a boy reminiscent of a friend and a girl, who have a close bond since childhood. This imagery suggests a deep-seated connection to your own experiences of friendship and loyalty. The idea that their actions lead them into trouble may reflect your feelings about relationships and the consequences of choices made by those close to you. You may be processing feelings of helplessness or guilt associated with the dynamics of friendships where one person bears the brunt of the repercussions, hinting at your own protective instincts or perhaps a fear of being judged for your associations. As the dream progresses and the boy faces abuse and ultimately death, it suggests a significant emotional turmoil. You might be experiencing anxiety about vulnerability and the weight of friendship, feeling that you are somehow implicated in the pain of others. The town's shift to abuse you as his friend could symbolize your fears of social judgment or ostracization, particularly when it comes to standing by those you care for. This theme of judgment further intensifies when you find yourself in a house, where you're confronted by a mother who misattributes blame for an innocent act involving the younger girl. This scenario hints at feelings of being misunderstood or misrepresented, and it may reflect your own experiences of being unfairly judged or feeling inadequate in certain situations. The presence of the two girls in bed with a floral blanket represents innocence and comfort, contrasting sharply with the chaos surrounding you. Their mother’s anger may echo your concerns about societal perceptions, especially regarding your intentions and actions toward others. The older girl shaking her head as if to shame you signifies an internalized fear of judgment and guilt. You might be grappling with unresolved feelings or concerns about how your actions are perceived by others, especially in the context of relationships that are complex and layered. The recurring element of the warehouse underscores a sense of confinement or entrapment, possibly reflecting your own feelings of being cornered by life’s circumstances or social pressures. The balloon stand signifies the desire for celebration or communication, yet it is marred by the frustration of denial and rejection, mirroring perhaps your own struggles to express your sentiments or to be heard. The racial dynamics introduced with the little girls and employees may represent broader societal themes you are currently navigating or internalizing, grappling with issues of identity and belonging as you engage with your environment. Ultimately, your victory in the fight against the wheelchair-bound man symbolizes a reclaiming of power and agency in your life, suggesting that you are capable of overcoming obstacles, even when they seem insurmountable. The emotional climax of your dream, where you beg to send a balloon with a simple message of 'happy birthday,' encapsulates a profound yearning for connection, celebration, and recognition. It suggests a desire to reach out, to celebrate life’s milestones despite the chaos and turmoil surrounding you. This dream, rich with layers of meaning, invites you to reflect on your own relationships, the judgments you face, and the ways in which you navigate your emotional landscape.
