I pulled 4 of Cups upright from two different tarot decks. They both had beautiful images of angels looking peaceful and pious. One looked like fine art from my favorite artist, that angel had downcast eyes and looked like a renaissance fresco, and another looked like younger, more kid-style art, and that angel had big sparkly sad eyes that were looking up like a puppy-dog.
At some point in the dream I was living with or just visiting Cody and his girlfriend Angeline. I don’t remember much about the dynamics, though I remember learning a dance number on the floor with my sister Ruby, and it was an incidentally sexy dance number that involved rolling on the floor and Cody was somehow watching. There was another point where their door was unable to properly lock despite me trying to close it, and Cody was out at the time so I resolved to tell him they needed to get their door fixed. The door would kind of flap open and it showed a calm night sky beyond. Other times their apartment was sunny.
Trent, a classmate, and their friends lived in this same apartment complex and they came up through this door, and sat on each other’s laps. I yelled at them to get out, sternly but not angrily, I had reached some sort of emotional limit for some reason and Trent was surprised but unbothered and simply left with their friends.
Last I remember wanting to buy Kylie Minogue mascara, and it made my lashes look thick and perfect and like I was wearing falsies. I was at a Target and my sister Ruby encouraged me to get the mascara. I also witnessed while there two queer women flirting and dancing and one of them was definitely advancing things with the other while the other was a bit more oblivious and hesitant but enjoying herself. When they danced they embraced each other and put their private areas in each other’s faces. I also wanted eyeliner from this brand and maybe lip gloss but decided against the lip gloss. I thought of the makeup I already have and felt that was enough. When I went to buy the mascara, I glimpsed my eyes in a mirror and was no longer impressed, but was still going to buy it. I remember being a bit self-conscious about my poorly applied makeup and going to a checkout where the employee almost charged me hundreds of dollars, as he mistook me for another female customer that was buying a huge box full of furniture. I resolved this misunderstanding and apologized and said I’d go to a different checkout, which I did but then I woke up.
I also remember Dame Maggie Smith playing a nun in a movie, and being the only nun watching over these children as they slid down harsh rocky cliffs into a dark tumultuous sea. I was in the water or on the rocks watching these children, and because it was a movie I wasn’t distressed. I remember a young adult man being directed by another adult to dive in at one point and save the children. Maggie Smith the nun was an old woman dying on a mattress on the ground but was spiritually strong and said something wise and striking about having been the only one watching these children when no one else really knew what was happening.
