Dream
I don’t know the exact location of this dream. It appears to be in some kind of school or corridor. It’s also possible it’s some kind of hotel or resort. It’s not explicitly clear. It’s worth noting that one of the hallways looks a lot like my high school. I am with my family and another family that we know in real life.
I have known this other family since childhood. In this family, there are three daughters. The oldest has started her own family. The middle child is my childhood friend and the youngest is who the dream was kinda centered on. In the dream, this child in particular was some kind of investor or ceo of some kind of toy collection despite being incredibly young. It’s noted in the dream by my mom that she will become very successful one day.
In the dream, she has a popular YouTube channel that showcases all of her toy products. The toys vary by rarity. The original toys that were “wanted” by the general public are common and the “toys” that were disliked or “unwanted” are now rare and sought after. I end up collecting some of the toys myself and I end up collecting some of the unwanted. Part of the dream is determining if I have one of the rare toy pairings. When it’s determined I do have one of the pairings, ( a green salamander and a purple lizard) my dad ends up becoming interested and we leave to go to another location.
This next location is some kind of farm and mine at the same time. The mine consists of primarily silver and gold. In the dream, we are seeking silver in particular. It is noted that it is hard to tell what is silver and what is normal rock. On the way to the mine, there are trees that are painted a specific color. My dad tells me they are painted this way so the farmers and miners can track what kind of trees they are. The color in particular is a peach orange and changes to a dark purple as we keep walking.
This is when the farm segment takes place. There is a part of the land that is a massive chicken coop. Some of the chickens are kept in cages and many of them are roaming the land. For some reason, I point out that it is animal cruelty to keep the chickens in an unsupportive habitat. My dad then points out that the original farmer we saw was way worse and the chickens are strictly kept in very tiny cages. After discussing this, I notice a cat right next to me. I start petting the cat and it starts purring. I get my dad’s phone to take a video but as soon as I do so, the cat gets scared and transforms into a dog. It is noted in the dream that the cat is sensitive and easily spooked. We end up returning to the original location. After collecting the rare toy pairing and the farm event, I start to become more anxious.
I attempt to make my own YouTube channel but run into problems signing in as I have so many already existing accounts. After finally signing in to one of the channels, I leave to go see some kind of art museum. This museum contains a comic about a celebrity that exists in real life. I originally like the comic but then I notice that the celebrity’s eyes are the wrong color. There are two girls that are also interested in the comic and I find out that they are interested in my rare toy pairing. I put the toys in the museum as part of the exhibit into separate boxes based on their pairings. I then hear the girls comment on the layout of the toys. Interestingly enough, they seem to like the “wanted” toys more than the rare “unwanted” ones.
The dream then switches to a scene of a man that is trying to escape the location. He is running out to a lake and I guess attempted to leave by tying a blue balloon to his legs. After running out, he monetarily hovers above the lake before being suddenly pulled under by gravity. He starts to drown, as if being pulled under by the balloon that previously lifted him somehow. I note that it is most likely due to his heavy weight. During the drowning sequence, his memories start to appear. As they continue, he starts seeing memories of when he was younger and was with his mother before she supposedly died. I then start hearing a heartbeat in the background. It’s unknown if it’s his or mine. After the young memory sequence, the dream ends.
