Dream
I’m a dancer in real life, and in my dream I was a dancer aswell. It was the day that I auditioned for Flower Knows (which is a makeup company in real life but for some reason it’s a dance studio), a studio that’s really nice, clean and popular for the almost a million dancers that try out each year in different locations around the world. Luckily, they had one in Richmond, which is close to where I lived when I was growing up. I waved my mom goodbye and I walked inside the building with a ballet pink dance bag and my water bottle while wearing my dance costume that I used for one of my old dance recitals. It was a dusty pink with a glittery center, ruffed sleeves, and an illusion of a skirt, but it was actually long mesh pants so I could move better. I got inside and there was a table with two ladies, and I picked up my name tag and a paper that had information about my audition, like my name, the number on my name tag, what style of dance I was doing, and my audition song. It wasn’t like other auditions—we could choose to do a solo, duet, trio, or an entire group dance and they would still sit there and evaluate everyone. I was before a lot of people and watched some kids in metallic blue and purple costumes with fringe do a very poor tap routine while their teacher was there too. Disqualified almost immediately. And then, after a girl in a white leotard, it was my turn. My dance was called “Sweet Love”, and when I finished, I left the place. We’re supposed to receive a social media post with all the numbers that made it. Then, the scene changed to me, my best friend Karmen (in real life too) and my twin sister Mya (in real life. too) walking into the girls locker room, hearing “it stinks” conversations and people taking their backpacks to leave school since P.E. is our last block of the day. But suddenly I was watching this girl that had a pink car from the window, a high schooler, and she tried to drive her car through the building! It didn’t work because someone told the P.E. Teacher. Before that, we were playing this game in the gym where they put up poles and connected them to eachother and they were white and long and super tall, and there were huge flowers in the middle of them, and each of them had a different color. It was simple: each team consisted of 2-6 people, and you just had to catch the ball. If your team throws the ball to the blue team for example, and they don’t catch it, your team gets a point instead of them, because points are bad. You have to get the least points possible, and that’s why people get mad when you don’t catch it. The other objective of the game if you’re not trying to compete is if everyone tries not to drop the ball for 3 minutes in the game. If someone does, they’re immediately out (not their team, just them) and the game restarts. I was with my friends but every single one of them got out, not me because the ball was never directed to me. You can’t be by yourself and play so I got off the flower (which was orange by the way) and asked one of the mean-ish girls, Nariyah (she was in my middle school in real life) if I could play with her, and luckily she said yes because her teammates also got out too. Then it was time to go, and when I was climbing up the steps to leave I saw my sister scribbling a pride flag on the steps, I told her to stop cause it’s not their month anymore, she said “yeah but they’re important”, and it kind of annoyed me cause sometimes they shove it down our throats, and I was like “okay, bye, I’m leaving.” And she mumbled that mom isn’t even here yet, and then I stood outside, went on discord, and posted on all of the servers: “fun fact, I know an ENHYPEN member personally” I was going to say ni-ki cause for some reason I knew him like I saw him but I don’t know where.
