Dream
So I dreamed again, after praying to spirit, and asking them to send me a message that I
could understand, and break it down for me like a kindergartener. I dreamed of my
ex-husband, my first one, not the kid's father, and his family, which I am not close to at all
anymore, because there are a bunch of far-right Republicans who worship Trump. But, in the
dream, I was at the house with his sister and my best friend, and we're hanging out, and I lost
something. I started playing with this ring. And I was putting it on the finger of my new
boyfriend, who wasn't visible. I couldn't see anything but maybe his body up to his chest. And
he did not play a big part in my dream at all. But, at one point, they're cleaning the house,
decluttering everything. And I looked outside, and they're taking apart my car. And I'm getting
upset because I don't know what's happening. And then she comes in, and she wakes her
husband up. like shouting his name. And she says to him, there was this, this, this damage on
her car. You need to come out and help me fix it. And all this other stuff. So, he gets dressed,
he goes, and he starts fixing my car. Like, I can hear power tools. He's fixing my car, fixing my
car. So, I go back in, I put the ring on top of the refrigerator where I was playing with. I
accidentally wake up my ex-husband and the girl he cheated on me with that he's married to.
And so, I'm trying to be nice to her. She's trying to be nice to me. We hate each other, but
we're trying. And he is just being so, ugh, right now. Like, icky. And his sister looks at me, and
she's like, what is that? Why are you being so nice to her? And I was like, because I'm trying. I
don't want to rock the boat, you know. So, anyway, she has to leave for work. So, Josh, my
ex-husband, decides he's going to drive me home. So, I'm in the car with him. We're in the
backseat. There's a whole driver. Turns out the driver's his best friend, whatever. And my kids
are with me. And he starts talking to me in Korean. I guess I've been watching too many
Korean dramas. But he starts talking to me in Korean about how he takes care of her. Her
hands, like the nails are always done. Her toes are always done. She always looks beautiful.
And I was like, oh, that's crazy. I'm so happy for her. I could do that for myself, though. I do my
own nails. I do my own feet. And then he starts talking to me again. I go, why are you
speaking Korean? And he's like... Because you don't know how to speak it. And he's being
very stuck up. And I'm like, okay, I don't care. So, I get to my mom's house. I take the kids out.
And my family is here, like my brothers and my sister. And the kids and my best friend, who
was at the house with my exs sister but somehow appeared here. And we're hanging out or
whatever. And then my brother, Jesse, who has cerebral palsy, but he's in his bed. He can't
move. Like, he can't walk. He needs to go get a prescription, and so do I. So we go to go get
the prescription. And I don't know what pharmacy it was, but I know it was not in the best area.
And we're driving, and he's laying in my back seat. My mom's in the front seat next to me, and
I'm in the front seat. We go there. We drop into the drive-thru line, and the girl there
recognizes me. She's like, it's the right patient for me. She's like, it's the right patient for him.
And, you know, it's a whole process. She's like, oh my god, how are you? And I'm like, I'm
great, how are you? And we catch up. Then the line is getting really long. People are getting in
the line. I'm like, I should go. And she's like, oh, okay. I'll talk to you soon. Keep in touch. And
so I leave the line. We start driving home. Like I told you, it's not the best neighborhood. So
we get a little lost. But we do eventually find our way back. And then I'm back at my
ex-husband's house with his family. And I'm talking about the car ride home. And so I
remember what he said to me and like what I said to him. And they're all like, yes, good job.
That's how you should handle it. Just be the strong woman that you are. And then we end up
playing Switch, like the Nintendo Switch, and talking. And his best friend comes over. And his
best friend is like being flirty with me. So I'm being flirty back. At one point, I get changed and
I'm trying to put on my clothes. I end up putting on my ex-husband's shirt. I'm like, ew, this is
his shirt. And I take it off and put on my own clothes. And then we all are outside. They
finished fixing my car. So we're having this kind of picnic outside. And his sister hugs me and
was talking to me. And then the best friend was sitting next to me and talking to me. And I'm
flirting with him. I'm putting my hand on him. I'm like kissing his cheek. And he is just having
like a field day. He's like so excited and happy. And we're all being very carefree. And then my
ex-husband comes back. And I guess he expected me to behave a certain way. And I didn't.
So when I'm leaving, I'm taking my car keys and my switch and I'm gathering my stuff. I'm
going to my car before I get in my car. Like he's following me throughout the house. And I'm
like leave me alone. And he's like I know you miss me and I'm like leave me alone. And so
then I get out the front door. I open the glass door and go out. And his friend is there waiting
for me. So I kiss his friend on the cheek and I'm like bye. Don't be a stranger. In a really cute
voice. And his friend is like I won't. And I'm like okay. So I get in my car and I drive away. I go
back to that pharmacy to pick up the medication and I take the kids to the doctor. Jesse is in
my backseat. The kids are in the backseat with him. Kind of like letting him lay across their
lap. And my ex-husband's sister comes up to the front and is like where are we going? And
I'm like we're going to the doctor. And I'm in the front seat but she chooses to sit all the way,
all the way in the back. And the best friend of my ex-husband is all the way, all the way in the
back. And they're talking to me and they're like where's the doctor? And I'm like I don't know
Jesse. Do you remember the address? And he gives me the address. I put it in the GPS. And
we all buckle up and drive away.
