pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

I don’t remember the setting, but I was in a house, and I went outside. It was snowing. Like, a lot. Like, everything was covered in snow. Then, suddenly I saw a beehive. But for wasps. A wasp-hive. I thought “how is that possible, it’s snowing?” And a blue was came out. It stung me, and it hurt. So I killed it. Suddenly a lot more wasps came out and started chasing me. I ran back to the house, and I was scared to go back outside. My family tried convincing me, but I was really scared. Eventually, I went outside, thinking the wasps had forgotten about me, but oh, no, the moment I stepped outside I was being chased by blue wasps. I ran to the car, and suddenly I was in a hall. With my family. I was in a meeting with the king of the blue wasps. I made a deal with him, and in exchange for me doing something for him (I don’t remember what it was), he’d take away the hit on me. And he said that the blue wasps would leave me alone forever. Even if I encountered a hive, they’d leave me alone. As long as I never killed one again. I felt relieved until another one stung me, and I felt scared again. Then I woke up.

Gunnhildur, your dream delves into a complex interplay of fear, conflict, and resolution. The house signifies a place of refuge, suggesting that you have a desire for safety amidst the chaos of your emotions. Stepping outside into the heavy snowfall may represent your feelings of being overwhelmed by external pressures or challenges in your life. Snow, often associated with purity and calm, here may also indicate a sense of isolation or confusion, hinting at emotional barriers you might be facing. The wasp hive introduces a powerful element of anxiety and aggression. The unexpectedness of encountering wasps in snowy conditions signifies how certain fears or challenges may be lurking just beneath the surface, catching you off guard. The blue wasp that stings you embodies a confrontation with pain or unresolved issues you may be grappling with in your waking life. Killing the wasp could reflect your instinct to eliminate these challenges, but it also highlights the consequences of such actions, as more wasps emerge to chase you. This chase back to the house signifies an internal struggle between facing your fears and retreating to safety. Your family's attempts to coax you outside suggest a pressure to confront these issues, but your instinctual fear holds you back. The transition to a hall meeting with the king of the blue wasps introduces an intriguing resolution, symbolizing a negotiation with your fears. Making a deal implies a desire to find a compromise or a way to coexist with your anxieties without resorting to aggression. The sense of relief you feel after the agreement shows your hope for resolution, but the subsequent sting serves as a reminder that fears can still manifest unexpectedly. This dream encapsulates your journey through fear, negotiation, and the complexities of confronting your inner conflicts. It encourages reflection on how you can approach these anxieties in a way that promotes growth rather than avoidance.
