pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

Christi and I had moved back to Boys Town to work. Christi had moved in before I did. Then I had to move in by myself. It was already late at night and she was already in bed. She had moved in some of the living room stuff but didn't have that bed fully set up. She just had the mattress on the floor. I was moving all my stuff alone and I was also wondering why we were moving back to Boys Town to work? We had good jobs and our own lives already. I was little confused about that as I was moving my stuff in. It was late by the time I got done. I crawled into the bed with Christi. It was present time, so of course our kids were adult kids all grown up. We had extra space in our apartment within the home without kids. That morning the Boys Town kids inbour care came into our apartment because we left the door unlocked. They all came in to say hello and welcome us I got up and met each of the kids one by one and shook their hand and repeat their name in an effort to learn each name on the go. I just remember feeling a little uneasy about why we would return to Boys Town when we had our own careers and good jobs. I was wondering how Christi would continue her private practice if we're working at Boys Town.

James, your dream carries significant weight, reflecting not only your current life situation but also delving into deeper emotional territories. The setting of Boys Town is particularly telling; it symbolizes a return to a place that holds both familiarity and complexity. This location may represent your past experiences, possibly connected to your childhood or formative years, evoking nostalgia but also questioning the reasons for revisiting that chapter of your life. Your confusion about moving back to Boys Town, despite having established careers and lives, suggests a conflict within you regarding stability versus change. You might be grappling with the notion of whether to cling to comfort or seek new opportunities that align more closely with your current values and aspirations. As you move in alone at night, there's a sense of isolation that resonates deeply. It could reflect feelings of detachment or independence, possibly hinting at your perception of your role within your relationship with Christi. The fact that Christi is already settled, and you are the one moving your belongings suggests a dynamic where you might feel a sense of imbalance or pressure to conform to certain expectations. The mattress on the floor, rather than a fully set-up bed, symbolizes a lack of stability or support in your current situation, perhaps mirroring your own feelings about being uprooted from a more secure place in your life. When you crawl into bed with Christi, it signifies a search for comfort and connection, yet the unease you feel about the circumstances indicates an internal struggle.
