Dream About Losing Novel Files

I dreamed I lost the digital files of my novel chapters. I was hiking somewhere, it was very orange and dry outside and it was clearly Colorado by the red rocks and pine trees. It was really sunny. I recall taking the walk specifically to get exercise and take care of myself. My laptop appeared stuck inside some rock; it could still be opened and used, but the bottom half was stuck in a big square rock. It was also dusty and dirty. I was with a couple companions, one of which might’ve been a family member, and no one knew how my laptop ended up here. I believed it had been carelessly tampered with. When one of my companions opened it it looked weird, there was a white screen with instructions for a reset. Somehow I clicked delete everything or restart, so I knew I lost the novel chapters. I was horribly affected. I appealed to my family for sympathy, who suddenly appeared, but they didn’t understand why it was so bad, and supplied a bunch of positive, casual alternatives. They even suggested I could easily rewrite what I’d lost, and it would be shorter and better than the first attempts. Even if true, I just wanted them to comfort me. I ended up disappearing into nature again. I saw myself in a mirror and my skin was bright red with a sunburn, especially on the left side of my face.
