Dream About Family Cat And Chickens

I was at my dad's house and i was with two young kids who felt like my sister Katelyn and her friend or somebody else but in the dream it was like my dad and stepmom kid had more kids. The neighbors they have issues with were telling the kids that they were gonna do something bad to our cat coda since he's been getting into the chickens space and maybe eating them or something. She then walked off fast to her house. I ran up to her calling out and she just went faster and ran inside her house but I stuck my foot in the door and then was telling them that I was the voice of reason in my family and that I wanted to come up with a solution to make everyone happy as I can't have anything bad happening to the family cat coda. They were reluctant. I came up with the idea that we'd pay to have a chicken coop built for them to give the chickens a safe place where coda couldn't reach them. I started telling this to them and their children which they don't have in waking life and the children seemed to be programed by the parents to just disagree with anything we said. It was like hitting a wall but I stayed persistent without losing my cool with them. That's when I woke up. Upon waking my first thought was that i wanted to go back to the same dream to settle the dispute properly.
