Dream About Disciplining Niece And Buried Cops

pages.dreamInterpretation.thisDreamWasAbout

I was with 4 or 5 other people, 2 felt like friends of mine was in the dream and 1 was one my brother. I was watching my niece, actually more raising her. She was super disrespectful and I had to discipline. She wasn’t but around maybe four or five years old. She would steal from me and had this evil thing about her. I was trying to clean up and around a dresser was a lot of little stuff, and as I was picking it up things kept falling under the dresser as if there was a slanted floor. Everytime I tried to throw something away the trash can seemed to knock over or I would miss the can. I kept moving the can to bring it closer and it kept falling over. My niece took skittles, that I had hidden from her, and ate them. When I confronted her she lied and said she didn’t, while actually eating them in front of me. She then proceeded to pull out dresser drawers, in a different dresser, where she hid things that she has taken from everyone. I was confused on why a 4 year old would even come up with that hiding spot for her age. I asked her why she took my candy and she wouldn’t answer me. So I was kinda playing around with her and saying that she always nice when she isn’t eating them and she’s the devil when she is. She had this grin on her face and said maybe I am the devil then. I kinda woke up and fell back asleep to be outside with the others and this guy asked me to play a game with them. He would count down and the rest of us would have to find certain areas in this weird yard where people were buried. Weird but it was just cops that were buried. They all had the person name and we had to find as many as we could. I found all but 1 and my brother says it’s so easy to find, it’s over by the bushes. Then others all said just run down there and you’ll have found them all. I said no, that’s okay, that I didn’t have any shoes on and didn’t want to get all dirty running down there. My brother got irritated because I wouldn’t go so me and my friends walked back inside. My brother said something, but I don’t remember it. I just remember saying back that I do do things, I watch his kid. That I’m basically raising his child. As me and my from walked inside we had to go through 2 sets of doors and 3 different short flights of stairs. I was behind them trying to talk. Asking them to wait I needed to tell them about the girl. They seemed interested but kept walking ahead of me. As I’m saying I think my niece is the devil, they agreed and said nothing else. Like it was normal and everyone knew it except me. Then as we’re walking down a long hallway I tell them I need to whisper now because she could hear us. One of my friend ran into the restroom and just left us outside. Then I woke up feeling heavy and scared.

Mel, your dream presents a vivid tapestry of emotions and experiences that delve into your subconscious mind. The presence of your niece, whom you describe as disrespectful and almost devilish, suggests a struggle with authority and perhaps feelings of inadequacy in your role as a caretaker. The fact that you feel responsible for raising her indicates a deeper exploration of your own nurturing instincts, but the confrontation with her stealing and lying may reflect your anxieties about trust and honesty within your relationships. This could symbolize the challenges you face in your own life, balancing your expectations and the reality of those around you. The recurring theme of trying to clean up around the dresser and items falling under it points to feelings of chaos in your life. The slanted floor could represent a sense of imbalance or instability, suggesting that you may feel overwhelmed by responsibilities or unexpected challenges. The struggle with the trash can that keeps tipping over symbolizes frustration with attempts to manage or dispose of your problems, implying that you might be grappling with issues that seem to elude resolution. This feeling of being unable to control your environment speaks to a deeper need for order in your life, both emotionally and physically. When your niece takes the hidden Skittles, it highlights a conflict between innocence and mischief, paralleling your own internal conflicts about desires that may feel wrong or forbidden. Her claim of being the devil when eating candy serves as a playful yet poignant metaphor for how indulgences can lead to guilt or shame. This exchange could reflect your own struggles with temptation and the way you perceive your desires, perhaps pointing to a need for self-acceptance and understanding rather than judgment. The transition to the outdoor scene where you are participating in a game involving buried cops adds another layer of complexity. The act of searching for names among the buried hints at a quest for identity or understanding of your past. Your reluctance to participate fully due to not wanting to get dirty could signify fears about getting involved in situations that feel risky or uncomfortable. This hesitation may highlight an inner battle between wanting to engage with life and fearing the consequences of those actions, particularly in relation to familial expectations. As you navigate through doors and stairs, trying to communicate your concerns about your niece, it seems you feel unheard or sidelined by those around you. This may represent feelings of isolation or frustration in your relationships, particularly with your brother, who seems dismissive of your worries. The dream ends with a sense of heaviness and fear, suggesting that these unresolved feelings are weighing on you. It could be beneficial to reflect on these dynamics in your waking life, as they may be affecting your mental and emotional well-being. Overall, your dream invites you to explore these themes of responsibility, trust, and self-acceptance, and to consider how they manifest in your everyday experiences.
