Dream About Confronting Trauma

I woke up in my house. My cousin Benjamin and sister Ann were there too. Suddenly there is a knock at my door it is a female police officer from the Mercer Police Department. She informed me that the man who molested me as a boy has decided to turn himself in and take responsibility. I ask when this will happen and she says it will happen tomorrow. However he will come to my house first and talk with me about what happened. He will also be ordered to pay damages for what happened to me. I get scared at this thought but she tells me there is nothing she can do. The next day I am in my basement. I hear a knock at the door. I don't go upstairs though and I wait around an hour. Then I walk upstairs to see a note that says "sorry"
