Dream About Breaking And Entering With Cat

In this dream I was feeling very sad and I drove to my old house with my cat. Someone else lives there and it was like 4 in the morning. The front door was unlocked and I walked in. I noticed that there was a pack n play crib type thing in the middle of the kitchen. I was holding my cat but then I started to realize that what I was doing was not legal. So I quietly tried to walk out and once I closed the door, the guy I sold the house to, his girl friend and some of their friends come outside to confront me that what I was doing was illegal. Some people were getting other neighbors involved asking them if they knew me and stuff and then when I was surrounded I put my cat, Loki, in the car and started to cry. I asked the guy... Don't you remember me? And then it dawned on him. He remembered me selling him the house. I asked him if I could hug him. Told him I've been through so much and I just wanted to go back to the place that I felt the safest. He seemed understanding where others were not. Eventually I got back into the car and started to drive away. I then thought that even though he might be understanding, his girlfriend might not ever be and I might have the cops knocking on my door in the morning to take me to jail for breaking and entering. Then I woke up.
