I was in this bunker with my dad, and a bunch of people I didn't know. There were also some characters from the show Carmilla, like Kirsh and Dani. There was some sort of sea monster that had been terrorizing the people of our city. Destroying ships and even going onto land to destroy buildings and take people. It was late at night and we'd just gotten a report that another ship was being attacked and that there were still survivors in the water that needed help. Someone turned the TV on and we all watched a live broadcast of the ship being attacked by large tentacles and people jumping ship, into the dark and freezing waters. Dad started shouting orders for any able bodies to gear up and get ready for a rescue and possibly a fight. I started to get my gear ready, but dad grabbed me by the shoulder and told me I wasn't going anywhere. He said he'd almost lost me to a giant hawk the last mission I went on and he couldn't bear to risk losing me again. I shook his hand off and said that I have to do something and that I wasn't here just to sit around and watch other people fight and die while I do nothing. I gave him a big hug and promised that I'd be okay and that I'd come back in one piece. I also told him that I love him he should be proud that he raised me so well, because he raised me to do the right thing. I gave him one more hug, then walked over to where Dani was crouched down, putting her boots on. I placed my hand on her back and asked if she was with me for this. She stood up and placed a hand on my shoulder and said of course, she'd always be right by my side. We headed into one of the bedrooms where I kept a special stash of weapons for fighting the sea monster. As we entered the bedroom, Dani spun me around and quickly, but gently, laid me down onto the bed. She immediately climbed onto of me, took my head in her hands and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around her and buried my fingers in her hair as we kissed. We made out passionately for a moment before she smiled and got off me, saying that was for good luck. I smiled back and extended my hand to her, which she took, then pulled me back up onto my feet. I grabbed the duffle bag of harpoon guns from my weapon stash, and smiled again at Dani, saying let's go kill that fucker. We began to rush out of the room, then I woke up.
