Dream About Women Fans

There were 5 women that would turn into oscillating stand up fans when plugged in, and would turn back into normal human women when unplugged. When they were in fan form, they are completely immobile and unable to speak, and we're almost in a trance. They were so happy when they were in their human form and very upset that they had to return to their fan form occasionally. They plotted a way to be able to remain human forever. One of them, the shyest one, stepped forward and offered to remain in fan form for as long as she could so that the others could live free, as she thought she didn't have much to lose. The others were shocked but didn't talk her out of it. The next scene shows the 4 women dining in fancy clothes and dancing and having fun, while the shy one is in the trance-like state as a fan in the corner of the room. I was watching this like a TV show, viewing this but not actually there. I was wondering in my mind why they couldn't alternate between each other being fans instead of just having the one girl sacrifice herself.
