Dream About Parking And Funerals

Weird dream – I was somewhere with work people. I left in an SUV; they were going to a gym. I drove up a ramp to park and saw that they were forcing you to park in a paid parking structure. It was funny, it didn’t always pay to pay – I felt duped. The deal was if you weren’t a premium gym member you had to pay for parking. If you upgraded to the fancy membership then you could get it validated. On one hand – my left side – it looked like there was a fancy hotel. But the exit from the structure was to the right. I saw the street outside so I drove right. But the street wasn’t the exit. All of a sudden I was driving through a sea of people in a wedding. I couldn’t move, so I got out of my car. Everyone was dressed up and I thought it must be in a hotel and this was after a wedding. Suddenly my little girl was with me. She was about 16 or so, but when I glanced back she looked like a different child and was much younger – around one and a half maybe. We walked through a passage together. As we went through the passageway we noticed that the people were crying. It wasn’t a wedding, it was a funeral. Everyone at the funeral was dressed in black. And here we were, this lady with her toddler dressed in Disney clothes, just trying to get out to the street. We bumped into a man and I said I was sorry. I was embarrassed. He said it was okay. I said we just needed to get outside and couldn’t find a way out. He said it was right through there, don’t worry about it. Ana saw another little girl and I said to her, “Oh did you find a little friend. That is so sweet.” The two of them toddled over to each other. Ana started to feel and grabbed the girl’s hair and pulled it accidentally as she was feeling. I said, “Oh honey let go,” and tried to get her to loosen her grip. But she got angry with me and pulled the girl’s hair harder. The family of the little girl was furious and started yelling at little Ana. Then I noticed that she didn’t look like Ana looked when she was a toddler – she looked like a completely different kid. She wouldn’t let go so I said, “You wouldn’t like it if someone pulled your hair would you?” and I started to pull her hair, not hard, just to show her. And she looked at me deadpan and said, “It might.” In a sweet, grown-up voice – not her voice. I tried to joke it off and said, “Oh I’m gunna be in trouble with you, aren’t I” – trying to divert attention with humor. And then I scooped her up and started walking to the doors. The light was very bright, blindingly so. And then I woke up.
